Cloning time frame..

I have started up the beginnings of a continuous grow cycle and am inexperienced with clones. I'm just wondering what a good recommendation would be for how long to veg clones before putting them into flowering. I know they carry the same age and everything, but need to fill out some if you want to get good yields from your clones.

Right now I have flouros to grow the cuttings under, and was planning on taking cuttings and growing them for two, possibly three weeks in 24/0 veg before putting them directly into flowering for 8-9 weeks. Is this sufficient time, or should I be planning on 3-4 weeks of veg time before flowering? Anyone with past experience on finding that right time, input would be appreciated.

you can put them into flower as soon as they root if you want, if you want them bigger, let them get as big as you want befor switching over.

you just have to make sure they are rooted befor you do. make sure there is obvious new growth, not just a little bit. and make sure you can see good roots on them. that could take anywere from 1 week to 3 weeks... all depends.

^^^lol yea i wouldnt either...

flowering right after its rooted will actually get you a decent amount, it will get about 3X its size in flowering alone.

so there is no need to necessarily wait to let the plant fill out before flowering? I know it will grow more in flowering, and I know I can essentially flower immediately, but what is the best time/quantity ratio? Should I wait the extra two weeks of veg, or will the difference in final yield not be worth giving up a quicker production time?

i just got my rotation down for a continuous grow. i veg foe 60 days. when my plants have 4 or 5 branches that's when i cut off the bottom branches and clone all i can off that branch. now then while my other girls are at the end of their flower cycle my clone tha i cut are about 2 1/2 ft to 3 ft tall. and i keep this going. i can only have six so i want to maximize my yield that's why i veg for so long.
