Jus a quick q. How soon do you take cuttings to make a clone? Do you take clippings as soon as you know if its a fem, or do you wait a little b4 cutting so as not to stress the plant?

you can clone pretty much anytime in growing as long is big enough to sustain a cutting.I take my cuttings from my vegging mom but I know she is a she as she they were cloned from female few generations back and i keep the moms in veg until new clones take good root then I can toss those moms into flower room. You can take an early clone from veg and put it into flower 12/12 after it roots for a week t get an early sex.If the clone shows female then its mom is female so take more clones and put into flower. If the early clone shows male you can chop it down and not waste time going through a whole cycle. My 5 moms I have been vegging and keeping in veg for like 3 months and just took a light clone batch of about 45 clones with the need for only 28 plus 6 for new moms eventually.Moms are big now at about 4 feet but you can take clones when a plant is around 8-10 inches without issue.

thanx for da info, I think i'll wait and see the sex of my plant first b4 i clone. i've been on 12/12 for a few days now, so i'll jus wait an see. crossing my fingers tho for a fem. on my first grow, the plant was assasinated and it totally looked like an accident, on the second grow, it turned out to be a male.

i check the sex of the plants by flowering a clone of it... you can clone all along the grow, but as soon you are in flowering it gets harder to get some descent clone.
