It's posible, but the rooting process is likely to take longer if the plant has been flowering for a while, and the clone may have some deformed growth, until it revegges properly.

but by when it revegges "properly" it's already deformed... which is actually under most circumstances a good thing because it develops multiple canopies around the same hieght... almost as if you had FIM'd it
