Closed loop help

So we recently purchased this closed loop setup. We are still waiting for the oven to arrive and a couple other parts, but I was curious if someone could explain to me how to use it or point me in the direction of a good tutorial.

thamn bro you buy a system and have no clue how it goes? Firstly do it outside but if you have to so it inside be sure to wear an antistatic bracelet and have a fan lightly blowing air to the system, cause you CAN blow yourself into a new universe with enough butane.

First look at your system the volumes of the chambers seem out of whack for the volume of the column that you have. Calculate the volume of your spool multiply it by 0.7 or 0.8 and the result of that operation multiply it by 3, thats the volume of gas that you need to be able to push through the material for an efficient extraction.

The gas gets transported from one chamber to the other ith the help of thermodynamics. Gas seeks low pressure and cold and will evade heat and high pressure. if youre extracting over -20C your results wont be as good, get everything as cold as possible and your extracts will be clean provided the starting material is excellent.

Good luck!

Ps.: In contrary to popular belief wax is total bullshit, so once extract is done dont scramble, whip, stir whater kids are calling agitation nowadays. Put into a thin film in the oven between 45/50C flip when irregularly sized bubbles stop and quit the purge when the other side has done the same. do an extract with ridiculously good nugs and youll have an award winning extract.

I already know how to make shatter. I'm pretty seasoned when it comes to that, I've just never used a closed loop before.

I bought a closed loop system years ago. I followed the directions included with the system, ignored youtube vids and google, and never had a question, the directions covered more than enough for me to succeed. Try those first, thats my suggestion.

Lol, I wish that was an option. I Know the guy that builds these so there isn't really and instructions, this is all he gave me so far. There's a few pieces that were missing that are coming still like the oven and a couple clamps. I get the idea of it and how it is supposed to work and all, I just don't quite understand how to properly pull the butane thru it and then also how to reclaim it after.

I use temperature/pressure changes to move a very specific amount of pre loaded solvent through the bud, then temperature/pressure changes
to reclaim that exact amount of solvent. The details such as how much, how long, how cold, how warm, how much etc will best come from the manufacturer, assuming they know how to operate their equipment.
Knowing the guy that builds them should help you get those instructions quick. dont fuck around until you're sure you understand how and why yours operates and any risks involved.
