Mine were tester lamps sent to me by Robin as hlg became a brand between him and jgl. But yeah mine come up ~195-196 at the wall each. I wish they were 250, maybe I swap the drivers in them if they can hang at that wattage efficiently. Haha

Thanks! These seem perfect use for a light print for a closet! I have a ceiling fan in my spare room so a tent is kind of out of the question. Prob put a 2x2 or 2x4 tent in my bedroom for mother plants and clones and flower in the 2x6 closet.

Neither of those are inside the fixtures you're running.

Actually the second picture is Philips lumileds, which are what are used in my razors...

The first picture is a board of the LEDs used in the QBs. .

Quite possible our lights are more different than just the wattage. Maybe just same case. No idea.

Quantum Boards are the name for a specific brand of PCB mounted midpower LED diode driven light. There are other types, but they're Nikes to Steve and Robin's Adidas.

There are other midpower chip based light fixtures on the market but that's not what's in the Razor bars; those use fewer, higher power chips.

Not knocking them, I like them too. But let's not confuse them with Quantum Boards.

You're wrong on both counts concerning my razor and the QBs, my razor uses Philips lumileds and the QBs use Samsung 561s, the ones on the board pictured with more rows of LEDs. As far as hlgs custom configuration of those boards being great I agree with you.

My razors are midpowered chips. I guess I post in here because the razors fit better here than other threads, imo any midpowered LEDs wired to boards would fit in this category, especially ones made by the guys at hlg. Let me know if my lights don't qualify and I'll still posting here. Not always a fan of the attitudes in the led section, lol.

    Apples, oranges.

Let's say we make fruit salad and have lunch?

I'll mention to the guys that they might consider trademarking their brand name for the boards they're making.

You mean trademark "quantum board"? It may already be taken, but as far as I'm concerned any PCB pre-mounted LEDs, especially the ones made by hlg, fit in this section.

So do you think they should trademark different names in the future if they expand the boards to double or quad size also? Or if the sell single strips should they be "quantum strips", lol?

I always thought QB was the name for HLG boards that were released. I know there are multiple other COB pcb diode arrays out there that are similar but thought that Quantum was something Robin called his board release ?
