co2 And bubble system

I was wondering if anyone has introduced c02 directly into the air feed lines / to the air stones ... pumping right into the water .

Was wondering if that would enhance the roots and give even more co2 . Has anyone tried this . And what do you think about that

If you are growing in a residence there is plenty of co2 in the air. And it isn't roots that use co2 anyway, it's foliage.
