Co2 ppm

Plants will only use up what they can for their metabolizing abilities in relation to their size and growth stage and with respect to their grow environment. Better grow environment ie. temps, lighting, etc. will allow for better absorption and metabolizing of co2.

Generally they will use up pretty close to recommended ppm strengths for food during the different stages of growth. As seedlings or newly rooted clones they won't use up too much more than 400-600 ppm ( natures co2 ppm is 300-400ppm outside), as they plants grow raise the co2 ppm up towards 1000ppm when you are flipping to flower or 2-3 weeks of growth if they are clones. As they flower raise it up more and max out at around 1800-2000ppm co2. Some peeps max at 1500ppm. That is low for full sized flowering plants IMHO.

If your room is sealed and the co2 raises well above that during the lights off time it doesn't matter cause the plants will just eat up that co2 until the level in the room drops and your regulator turns on.
