Co2 Venting Issue

I have an air cooled light that is ducted to the carbon filter. When the light is on, the fan and exhaust is on. Because of this, will I not be able to use co2 enrichment?

I read that you run your co2 when lights are on and fan is off.

Then it will get too hot, 1000watt light. And the carbon filter will not be going so it will stink.

So I guess if the fan has to be on during light period, then you cannot use co2.:confused:

That's the way that I do it too. My lamps are air-cooled with 2 blowers, and the first one pulls air from the room, which in turn pulls air in from outside. Since that's my only fresh air intake, I don't want to turn it off. So I just run my CO2 with that running too. I just calculated my CO2 run time, and doubled it. Instead of leaking gas for 5 minutes/hour, I leak it 5 minutes every half hour.
Not really scientific, just double the gas. :blsmoke:
