co2???

Hi all, I am growing indoors (soil) for the first time and would like to know if it necessary to use co2 in my grow room and if it's not necessary, will I get a good growth out of my plants. I'm into the seedling stage right now and will be putting into the soil today as they are already 3'' tall. any suggestions would be appreciated.

dont bother with co2 do you have a plan for nutes not mg i hope how about circulation?

Unless you have a very good light set up and everything else is dialed in I wouldn't worry about co2.

good to hear, yeah, I've got a good set up, lights, venting , and all, was just wondering about co2. When I get my camera out ,I snap some shot of my setup. Thanks!!!

The most efficient way of supplying CO2 to your plants is simply to breathe on them. A few deep breaths is more than enough.

1500-1600 PPM is the optimal level of CO2 for prolific growth. breathing adds about 160ppm, still need lots more. Breathing is not enough.

So what would you suggest using to generate 1500-1600 PPM of CO2?

a co2 generator, or regulator and a tank, dry ice.. breath is useless if you have good ventilation, co2 should be dumped when your lights go off, 10 min later kill the exhaust fan, flodd the intake and kill it too for about 20 min. fans and lights kill your co2.

just look at everything you need to do to get co2 enhancement right, and it will be meaningless unless you do everything else well.
