co2?

...I personally only use co2 during flowering, just as tiptop mentioned, because I veg under fluorescents. Co2 will make your plants photosynthesize more, so more light would be required. However, co2 will make your plants grow faster even in veg.
...during flowering, I personally set my co2's ppm to 1500 when hydro growing, and 1200 when growing in soil w/ organics.
...I only release co2 when the lights are on, it's non benefitial when the lights are off.
...your ladies will use more fertilizers with a co2 enhanced room also.
...Good luck.

This is my 1st grow ever.
In that case it probably isn't worth it for this grow. You need to have your grow tuned in before co2 becomes beneficial. Heat, humidity, nutrients etc, if you search around you'll find a lot more info on how best to use co2, but for your first grow, i'd recommend just learning how the plants grow, getting used to feeding them and such, and then work on that experience when starting to implement more advanced techniques.
