Hey Guys,

So i have found this locally - They are 50w COB Leds
It says on the one D4625 - 5810C
Would 2 of these each in a floodlight reflector work for a 3 x 2 foot area?
What kind of yield - ive read of COB doing 1.5 grams per watt - but could these ones pictured do that?

Thanks Guys!

I think you suppose to mount them to a heatsink or something? Do a little research on it before you play with electrical. Don't just listen to some guy on a forum who gives you a green light and you end up frying them or worst case start a fire.

Edit: but yes 1.5g watt for LED is not unrealistic. Research those chips see if they are decent and research the proper way to diy cob.

They are poo. You'd be better off buying a bunch of led bulbs and removing the diffusers.
