sorry I c u do finnish in them .peace
Yeah, total grow, when I grow from seed, I pre germinate the seed, place it in a RootRiot cube and that goes directly into my Hempy bucket so once the roots begin establishment they not disrupted at all by transplanting. They go straight to the reservoir and start taking off.

Yep, I can see where transplanting would bring on a case of the ol chap ass, LOL
I normally grow in larger containers, have grown in 1 gallon smart pots, 2, 3, 4 and 5 gallon Hempy buckets. I just wanted to give this a shot, is not really a true SOG, so at some point I am going to try again. Would have been able to do it had I not lost the 12 clones to damping off.
Maybe see how next falls grow goes, planning on doing 5 regular Mr. Nice Seeds National Health Service, NHS or (Northern Lights5 x Haze) X Skunk #1. Look forward to doing that one. hope to at least get 2 to 3 different pheno fems. At that point I will make a decision on whether to go with a NHS SOG or the White Rhino or Exodus Cheese SCrog. I love that EC, the fragrance and the high both very good. It is a branchy pheno so a one plant SCrog would probably be the ticket. I have a container, actually a sorghum syrup for cattle, that is round 19x21 or 26 gallon that I would like to use if it is not to large for my cabinet, which is only approx 8 sqft x 6' tall. That may be overkill on container size.

White Rhino & Exodus Cheese Day 28 of 12/12

Hi y'all,
Interesting week, good fuck up but also good recovery, may have lost a few days grow time.
Was looking at the lower buds on the plants and they were totally shaded and what looked like the start of just plain ol' popcorn buds, so after consulting with a friend I decided to do some trimming. So being the total fool I am I loaded a big bowl and went after them, and once I started I could not stop, so I tended to go a bit overboard. When I finished I just scratched my head and gave my work a WTF look. Sent pics to my buddy as he is a big fan of defol, and he said "man those look great" that they would recover within a week and then I should see some nice thickening of the bud sites. He said after he does his initial trim @ 21 days into 12/12 that he will remove any fan leaf with a petiole of over one inch. I have removed fans before but not to that extent.

Everything seems to be going OK at present, buds are thickening and I have at least 4 to 6 weeks remaining.

Well that's it from my little bit of the world.

My mom started with breast cancer, they removed her breasts, and a year later it returned, now in her bone.
I grew 8 strains outside this last summer, and
Made a few combinations of oils, but her tolerance is so low, she can't take a gram a day, yet.

I won't buy from anyone cause I don't know what they used on their plants, did they purge correctly etc...

Lol I'll be mainlining all my seedlings soon too,
I got over excited when germing seeds,
Forgot about available room indoors when they mature lol.

Great idea with the coffee cans btw
u just need to make sure u know what bud or trim they used.. purging makes no difference as you will be decarbing. which gets out the solvents!

Also be sure of what solvent is used, pure grain alcohol or at least 99% at minimum. Other chemical or petroleum base is cancerous.

ill post some photos soon. I just had my most epic.. first coco grow in canna coco. talk about easy.. big yielding.. and with great genetics the smell and taste is spot on.
Doing my furst canna grow right now, and after a month I am astounded by the ease and simplicity of the grow. I used to fight ph problems in all other mediums I've used. Thousands of gallons of water, and thousands of hours spent flushing, fretting, and fixing. When I started this grow I was nervous so I've been doing weekly 1:1.5 soil analasys, and just like canna told me in an email, all I have to do is get the ph between 5.5 and 6.2 and the coco does the rest. No muss no fuss, and the 1:1.5 test prove them right. My nuts go in with an EC of 1.3 PH of 6.0.mwhen I test the soil, the EC is .8 and the ph is 5.8! What is this magic?? I do drain to waste with a 10% runoff. No salt buildup, and the most stable ph I've ever seen. No flush needed ever.

White Rhino & Exodus Cheese clones, Not really a SOG, day 44.

Well if you have read above there is not much to share other than they are not dying on me.
The fungal gnats are going to take there toll weight wise, but I will still have some nice buds and very good buds also
Waiting till they dry a bit before water/nute, rez was damp but no liquid came out when tilted. I last watered on Monday mid day. so just over two days. Today's protocol included the BTi again, along with the Zone and Cannazym, in with my regular nutes, which is have dialed back as I don't want to damage any new tender roots trying to reestablish.
A lot of the pistils on the WR have turned orange but still have lots of new pistils coming in.

Few pics from this week

Short timer here! two plus weeks, been watching trichs mostly clear, few cloudy no amber yet. May stager harvest one or two early, one or two on breeders recommendation, and then watch trichs for when to harvest the others. Not expecting much weight wise.

Jesus, am I jealous. My white rhinos are in Week 7, and I don't have a fraction of the frost you have. Decent bud development, but no trichomes at all compared to yours. Did you start from seeds or clones? Because I'd sure like to have that strain instead of the one I do have.

SB,
Those are clones, I have the mother that was from seed. Who is your breeder? The clone I grew of her prior to this grow was extremely frosty. The EC is has a better fragrance and to me the high is better. The WR is good just not as good as the EC. I have the mother of the EC also.
I have had some troubles with this grow but it will all be good.

I got 50 seeds from BC Bud Depot for this grow; it was intended to be a pheno hunt, and of the 50 seeds, I got 52 seedlings (2 of them sprouted twins). Lost a few seedlings early on because they were just weak plants, and wound up with 26 females.

The proof is in the pudding, so in a few weeks I'll know how she smokes, but I was really hoping for more trichome production. Lots of trichomes is not necessarily a direct indicator of potency, though, as most experienced growers know. I grew out some purple kush a couple of years ago that looked like friggin' ditch weed, there were so few trichomes on it, and I was really disappointed.

Until I cured some and smoked it.

I swear to god... I took two hits off of that shit, laid down on the bed and put some headphones on to watch Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood at Madison Square Garden, and I only got partway through the first guitar solo. Next thing I knew, my wife was shaking me awake 2 or 3 hours later. Fuck me! I still have 3 jars full of that shit too, and some seeds. Should grow that one out again next.

Anyway, with the albino rhinos, a couple of them are extremely frosty, but of those plants I don't care much for any of their other characteristics. The healthiest, most robust and vibrant plants are the ones with the least frost, and the really icy ones are spindly, stretchy sativas (I was really hoping for a good indica mother). I'm getting generally good bud production, but am really surprised by how little frost they have on them.

But, you work with what you get. If it turns out the sativas are the better phenos, then that's what I'll run with going forward. We'll just have to see how it all plays out. I have at least a week to go on all of them, and some of them maybe two weeks. A lot can happen in the last week or two of flower, so maybe I'll get my wish after all, and one of the indicas will emerge like Superman bursting out of a telephone booth.

I started out watering with 10-20% run offs and would have the bottom of smart pots turn white looking so I figure experiment a little and started watering less no to little runoff but still 3-5 times aday according to what stage they in and they grow as good or better had the biggest harvest to date this way and save money instead of throwing it away just my experience that is worth trying the pots look the same as when I started maybe how salt effects some grows because of so much being used for runoff maybe wrong but works for me :bigjoint::bigjoint:

This is the reason I love canna.
I had a question about flushing their coco the final one to two weeks. My question was, everything I've read, that makes sence, says never to flush with plain water in coco. Always use a dillute nutrient solution. I use canna coco and canna nuts according to their light/normal feed chart, and the chart shows no nuts the final one to two weeks, only a doulbe dose of cannazyme. My question is, won't this wash out all the benificials that have built up over the cycle?
Here is their email back to me. These guys Rock.
Hello,

Thanks for the question. The reason you need to maintain the minimum level of nutrient application is to finish displacing the ions given off by the coco so that it washes out and does not affect the nutrient ratio and subsequent uptake. At the end, you really need to flush for 3 days to 2 weeks based on things like feed levels and crop grown. This also resets the Phosphate buffer so that it performs as a new medium again at crop start. It will not specifically affect microlife levels except as follows as you continue to set up the old coco medium for reuse.

After crop, it is a great idea to pull the medium out of direct production for a couple weeks, up to a month is really good. Then, before reuse, you give it a re-hydrating watering with a nutrient slurry at beginning levels, and allow it to drain well. Then plant the new plants and irrigate again fully with a full beginning feed as is normal. Yes, live things die out, but the spores remain to come back again. Also, this will hold down the excess salts and insure they drain properly.

Everything else sounds good!

Hope this helps,

Ralph B.
