I am bracing for my winter friend the canadian cold front which should be on me here in oh say 3-4 weeks max. This entails -5 below to maybe 25 degree's f till late march early april if things go well! Are there any experianced cold weather farmers willing to share there insights on cold weather conditions in regards to tents grows indoors with the chance that the temps will dip quite severely soon. I was under the impression that provided the temp dosnt get below say 60ish i should be fine shit i'lll bet 50ish id be fine but i WILL not assume anything! The issue is i have a large building i live in that is old-150years old, and i do have issue's keeping all of the house similar temps due to this situation. Any advice suggestions would be greatly welcomed.

I was growing in a tent in an outbuilding with an extension chord. It was alright when the light was on 24 as the temp stayed consistent but I couldn't flower there because I wasn't going to heat the inefficient building while the lights were out and the temp dropped far too much without the heat from the light.

I'd tried it and the plants got nailed with 50 degrees a couple nights and weren't happy so I had to move them indoors. The tent keeps a lot of heat in, but we don't get below 0 here. You could try to insulate the area around your tent and have a space heater on a temp switch as an emergency precaution if it drops below a certain point.
