collecting seed

i polinated 1 of my autos ---its in the woods in a 5 gallon bucket ,how do i collect seed from plant.usually never wanted seed however i could not get anymore autos around here.i can see a few seed pods already ,i got 4 or so weeks left on buds,dont want them to drop to ground.how do you guys do it?thanks

I wait until the buds are finished, ready to smoke. Seeds take about 8 weeks to mature. I get the seeds when I cut the buds.
