Has any one had any success with colloidal silver solution for making feminized seeds?


I just started praying a few branches 4 days ago hope it works

Nah not yet. Will likely go with STS over CS. Would post both step by steps but its too many characters. There will probably be some threads in the breeders section

It absolutely works. Just keep spraying it. I suggest twice a day. Spread them out as best as possible without being wet under lights. You will see pistols but they will die off and pollen sacs will form. The only issue would be if you aren't using a strong enough mixture of CS! Some plants will create more than others. But it absolutely works. I'm doing it right now myself.

I trier with 30 parts per millon but no success they say you havt to use 45 parts per millon or over.

I make my own and I've never tested it. I use a mason jar with 2 pieces 5/6 inches of silver wire with 1 9v battery. I let the generator run for 24 hours. The pistols just died the day after my first post. It was about 2.5 weeks. Now I've dropped down from spraying twice a day to once. I'm doing it to about 6/8 strains. Half of them I can see the balls forming. When they're noticeable on all of them I'm going to stop spraying.

It's to cheap and easy to make it. You can get every thing you need at radio shack or any other place like it. I even got rechargeable batteries.

Very important! Do not consume any part of a plant that has been reversed using cs or sts!!!!!!!! Not in any way shape or form.

15 ppms is plenty I have had much success. You just have to keep spraying everyday dont expect fast results. Takes 2-4 weeks for some females to flip

Thats true, do your seed making and toss that....better yet, flip a branch or 2 only......

This is correct ---> I always forget to mention that part. I kind of assume that should go without saying. But much better said.

Sorry the website has been down for me but i am using 50 ppm and and seeing some results one week in to spraying , i only spray a few branches on one plant so i can still smoke the other branches , i also am doing it another way by letting a flowering plant go 5-6 weeks past its peak of harvest so it grows male pollen sacks and thats working too

Some friends will be making some GG#4 (from an S1 plant) , Pineapple Chunk and M.O.B. as well as some homemade favorite outdoor strains into reversed fems soon. It's not too hard, but reading up on the how it's done is recommended.

You might want to make sure you have several clones of your targeted strain to receive reversed pollen strain on hand.

Sometimes it takes a while to turn the stubborn girls and if you put your pollen target into flower too early, she may be past her prime by the time the pollen is happening. Best to have a couple others of same strain to put into flower at varying times to ensure at least one is hot to trot with lots of sticky pistils as things proceed.

On a few branches its going from growing new pistils to opening up the tip thats grwoing a little ball in the middle so im thinking its working

That's a good sign.

Some people report less pollen from reversed girls than a regular pollen producing male would have. Might want to keep that in mind for planning things.

I highly recommend listening to "the grow from your heart podcast" it's a very informative show about cannabis. I believe it's Episode #145 where he talks about breeding and making feminized seeds and the timing. I've listened to every episode that's currently available and it's great. He's working on releasing all the older episodes again and episode 55 is all about feminized.

Well I still dont believe in that one, but Im on a different path this run. I am "flushing" but its not to flush per se as much as it is to simulate rain . Its fucking working!

First 2 shows I heard were "barefoot organics" and "no till with frosty" and I was hooked after that

Flushing I still think doesnt apply as we arent flushing a toilet here , but raining does apply as thats what happens in nature
