It's snowing hard here, blizzard actually, such bs, I hope my raspberries and blueberries survive I just planted them yesterday and the day before.
Sucks man, I've been waiting to put a raspberry bush out, cover them up if you can. I think they're fairly hardy bushes though aren't they?

I was just tilling my garden and planting some grape plants, I must have killed at least 10 huge earthworms accidently while tilling, they were giant, I think night crawlers. We expecting a snow tomorrow I hope all my plants are alright I already got out 2 grape plants , 2 blueberries, 1 raspberry, some cabbage and lots of carrots I just planted. Also did some fordhook giant chard and mustard greens I hope that grows.
my swiss chard, lettuce, and radishes survived through that blizzard a couple weeks ago. should be fine.

My garden is about 2 acres, so it's too big for me to go no til all at once. I have been adding cardboard, mushroom mulch and leaves to it, one section at a time. And the part I am tilling, I'm doing it as little as possible.

I was trying to explain no til to my cousin today. She couldn't wrap her head around the fact the soil will do alright without much help from us. My example is always the woods. Those trees are doing fine without store bought fertilizers.

I just cover mine with a trash bag but my rasberries don't even seem to mind the snow.

The garden is looking a lot better, I just ordered 10 more strawberry plants, my current patch is last years big gal and some new alpine strawberries I grew from seed in my house. Can't wait to get those 10 new strawberry plants in, going to have 3 different varieties of strawberry in the patch by end of next year, i'm very excited.

freaking massive hail storm....my plants just took a shotgun to the face...
I hear ya. Ive been seeing some freakish haillstorms lately. Id like to build some kind of easy to assemble makshift roof-eve over my more favorable crops so that when another round of hail-hell comes, all i have to do is place my real life lego pieces together and be good to go
