Colorado. Industry tanking

This will be the future of legalization with regulation in the wrong places. Instead of limiting licenses, it was a free-for-all. Market is flooded and multimillion dollar grow facilities are shutting down. Big money companies just left everything sitting in the fields and left. I hope the rest of the country is watching and learning. I doubt they will. For us, legalization was just confirming our God given right to partake in his creation. For them, it was a giant tax revenue money grab, as usual.

Good. Its only valuable because of the novelty and demand created by prohibition. This is why they are pushing for genetically modified sterile cannabis seed. The sooner big cannabis fails, the better off we will be.

Definitely. I'm just bracing for the next decade in New York. You know they're not going to learn anything from it. I'm not worried personally, my outdoor larf is better than their packing peanut, dust ball, powder poof, crumble crap. The first stage is well under way with prices tanking. Somehow it takes years before people realize it's junk. I just read Florida wants to cap thc to %10. That's like drinking keystone light. Just a shame

That's hilarious. Florida, one of the last states to incorporate a prescription database, the cornerstone of the opiate boom, and the cocaine boom before that, wants to mandate how strong the weed is? What an absolute farce.

I am fine with the greedy corps and the state missing out on the tax dollars. Those people don't care about the culture/community and medicinal value the herb offers. They just view the plant as another gold rush.

I'm fine with it too. What I'm not fine with is new smokers thinking this is what all the hype was about. If thats what i got my first time, id be really disappointed

True...but even amongst our "peers" there in little to no sharing or caring going on. I got called a liar and heard the "woke" term on another (dying) forum because I said I now just grow for fun and give away some of the spoils to friends and family. Some of these fucktards would charge their mom for a nug.

Sounds to me we both know why that forum is dying. The ignorant and greedy can smoke that garbage until their lungs crisp up like a burnt fan leaf. They deserve it.

I gift my stuff to friends and family all the time. Someone in the hospital? Tray of lasagna and a jar of weed with a zip of brownies. Get dumped, and your car is in the shop? Jar of weed, 6 prerolls, and some rice crispy treats.

When I went to the ny growers cup, the dude had a sign that said "for the cannabis connoisseur" looked like nugs I drop while cleaning, and I find it 3 months later under a shelf. Floor weed we used to call it. Only $350 a zip, what a fucken joke.

Now, I haven't slapped someone in a long time....

It's sad to see some turning into the same greed they were once 100% against.

I certainly played the game....but I always gave when I could. Had 4 "patients" in the day. Never charged em a dime for their meds. Knew some Vets....same gig. A good friend died of cancer 4 years ago and I kep her off the chemo drugs for 3 years via sends of bubble hash every few weeks. Her doctors were amazed to know how/what was changing her world...if only for a brief time. That's the shit they don't get, know, or understand.

Exactly, I have 3 cancer patients on the active roster, used to be 4. One was my cousin, she's in remission now. She went to the dispo first and loaded up on shwag. I sent her down a few jars and 4 sticks of butter as soon as I heard. She gave away the dispo crap. Vapes, concentrates, edibles, tinctures. None of it came close to a one hitter with my stuff in it.

That's hilarious. So what I'm reading is they're already trying to doom their cannabis industry before it gets off the ground. Who in their right mind will buy 10% dispensary weed in FL when it's one of the easiest states to buy black market drugs in anyway? Idiots.

Best cannabis will always be small scale home grows. The days of facilities pumping out cardboard and making bank should have ended years ago. It’s all about a money grab to the states, and they don’t make tax money from me selling to my neighbor from a personal grow.
