*** Commercial Grower Nutrient Solution EXPOSED!!!! ***

Hello everyone,

After perusing quite a few forum threads, I noticed that almost everything that is posted regarding nutrient solutions is based on small closet growers or newbie growers who are getting into the game for the first time. I have seen very few threads or posts from commercial growers regarding what mix they are using or have used with good results. Don't get me wrong, I understand the old school mentality of not wanting to share the "perfect" batch recipe....that shit takes a lot of trial and error to get just right. In the past, master chef's have guarded their secret recipe as if it were the Holy Grail.... rare was the opportunity when a fellow grower would share his recipe with you. However, I feel this attitude must change just as the laws, regulations and perception of marijuana is changing. It's really a trip for me to make the following statement, but it's absolutely true.....Growing marijuana is now becoming a viable career choice. That being said, I believe it's in the best interest of ALL of us to share information that maybe we wouldn't have shared in the past.

Honestly, I know that myself and a VAST majority of other commercial growers do not check forums, or post threads, or even visit RollItUp or other such websites. That needs to change. We need to come out of the shadows and start saturating the collective "Growers" consciousness with whatever knowledge we have to share.

Haters, fuck off. Interested Growers, tune in. Anybody with experience in grow rooms with 30-50 lights plus, please add your input. Let it begin.......

I am going to skip the rockwool cube soaking solution as I believe this is basic and if you don't know how to soak your cubes....go read some more.

1st Week Vegetative Solution:

Pro-Silica - 3ml/Gal
SVA - 6ml/Gal
SVB - 6ml/Gal
Nutriboost - 4ml/Gal
Hormex - 3ml/Gal
Cal Mag - 4ml/Gal
Hygrozyme - 4ml/Gal

This mix has been dialed down a notch from the manufacturers recommended strength. I've found that no matter what, you can't go wrong if you drop your PPM and dilute your batch with ph balanced R/O water. I usually run my Veg mix at around 500ppm and this is WAY under what is suggested by the manufacturer, however it's what works the best for the bitchy, temperamental OG strain we grow. We mix our batches using only air stones in the reservoir and never with pumps. I've found that a pump introduces more heat to the solution than I am comfortable with. A large, round air stone at the bottom of each 55 gal reservoir, with the right pump, agitates the mix till it's boiling which is fantastic.

I will post my Bloom Mix next. I'd love to hear what other mixes have worked for you guys first.

Thank you for sharing that but it begs the question "Why would the recipe change just because the volume increases?"
I am a relative Newbie so please don't think I'm being a smartarse, just interested, that's all.

a lot of growers drop the science of good recipes on this site...u gotta know who the real deal growers with the experience are...and the recipes for regular grows will work fine for commercial applications...it will just be in larger quantity but the same ratio

commercial fertilizer is the only way to go, mix the powders yourself. like most things worth your trouble it takes some tinkering but you'll learn the basics, without the snake oil.
