Commercial LED lights

I want to replace one of my 1000 watt HID lights with whatever the equivalent LED light(s) would be for flower. I have looked through this forum and others, and honestly the amount of options and info is overwhelming. I don’t have the time nor the expertise to build something myself, so I’m looking for a commercial plug-and-play option.

What would my best bet be as far as brand and wattage goes? I currently use an HID on a light rail that covers about a 4’x6’ area for each one of my 1000 watt setups. If I like the results I will phase out the HID’s all together, but I want to start with just one to see how it goes. What light would give me a good idea of the quality/quantity that LED lights can produce?

Thanks for any and all help on this....

I like the Spectrum King SK series. The SK402 is a direct replacement for a 1kw HPS and at 450 watts, with an IP65 rating (wet/humid locations) and a 50,000 hr + lifespan, makes the $630 price tag much easier to stomach.
I am in the process of gathering material to build yet another grow room. I sold my home of 27 years and downsized a bit. I will have 2 of these and a 100w "Mother's Lil' Helper" led for veg and mommy duties.

Oh, and don't listen to ^this guy.

Unless you absolutely need the IP65 rating.

the 4 panel 600w. q/b looks like good bang for the $ to me I just seen it advertised here on riu @ growerslights.com
Holy hot damn. When did HLG sneak that one out? I haven't seen any mention of this thing in the main QB thread... But fuck me, that's a crazy good deal. A better light than the 550, but for a significantly lower price. They're going to put themselves out of business, competing with themselves like that!

How commercial? Covered diodes / drivers , open frame but works, IP rating?

Whats your normal setup.....space, height, any goodies in the way or maybe leaving? dehuey fans whatever.....I know your No till? but don't remember much else.

Tasty @Rahz
Pacific Light Concepts @Greengenes707
Timber @RainDan
HLG @Stevenj37826
dare I say even Amare @Hybridway? ,

Also Photon Fantom might build you a custom light with their boards similar to HLG in small evenly spaced diodes, the rest rely on COB. Well except Amare which mixes Cob/mono's but kinda pricey, very nice builds though...Do your research on them, those mono's are borderline Eh.
Photon is on IG / web, rarely around....but probably a last resort too, as they would probably listen to a custom order, its not their usual MO, just selling boards mainly...
you might need a couple fixtures from each brand to cover a Thouey....

:peace:
You don't think any of them have a single fixture that can compete with a 1000w HPS?

Thank you all for the reply's.

@Abiqua not sure what happened to your post, but anyway my flower room is 14ft wide x 10 ft deep x 10ft tall. I currently run 3x 1,000 watt lights in that room with 6 plants under each light. I have a carbon filter and dehumidifier in the room, but nothing much that would be in the way of or impede the lights.

I will look in to some of the lights that you mentioned. I was kinda thinking I would need two panels to cover the footprint of the 1,000 watt light as well, but I wasn't sure what size (x2) would be comparable to a 1,000 watt HID. From what I've read a 600 watt LED would be pretty close to a 1,000 watt HID, so maybe two 300 watt LED panels would give me an adequate footprint?

Wow, it has a 6'x6' footprint? I could damn near replace all three 1,000 watt HID's with just two of those (if there's any truth to the specs)!
Hlg has a pretty good rep. probably need to find people using their other products as this is new & they're gonna no doubt sell out or raise the price to me it looks legit
