Compost Question!

Hey, okay. I was wondering if the dark green-black liquid that gathers at the bottom of your compost is okay for your plant. It definitely has a distinctive smell. I don't really know if it will hurt it or help it.

thanks!

I don't think that I would want to experiment with that stuff on my pot plants. Why don't you try it on some other type of plant first and see what happens.

turn the pile more regularly and add fruit and veg scraps to speed up decomposition. i don't think your pile should be so wet. but i'm stll new at composting myself.

Aiight thanks guys. I think i'll test the compost liquid on some other plants and see how it goes. I'll make sure to give you guys some results if it works well.
