I should chime in here and speak for most mainers to "flat landers" that talk about moving up. don't do it! it sucks here! its too cold, the jobs are bad, yada yada yada.. think of something that would make you not want to move here, evil aliens, or monsters, we do have a lot of republican tea party types! ;) don't do it man, this place sucks...

OK, I think I scared him off..

now that its just us mainers.. as long as we can keep this place a secret and keep people from moving here it always be a nirvana of natural beauty and good people.. lets just keep that to ourselves shall we?

;P

OMG... Because of Cerberus and Sick's comments, now I need to go to Wally World and get a new puter keyboard. It seems the both of you with your shananagins made me choke on me java and sprayed it on me keyboard. :-)

J/k ... you two, as well as all, just make me crack up from time to time and make my day just a little bit brighter ... Thanks :-)

As long as I can get a smile out of someone, my job is done :-) Hope everyone has a great time at The Pub this evening!

Thanks Sick :-) I hope that more than I show up for this, but I do understand their being wary of everything. I know that you will be there in spirit, and that to me, means so very much :-)

And just think ... We are in a warm spell up here !! I know that my wife and I love to go smelting on the frozen Kennebec River up in Randolph (Just outside Augusta), and because of the Maine weather these past 2 years, Jimmy has had to take off the shacks due to warm winters. It appears that looking down range at the temps here in Maine this winter, we will again, not be able to do our favorite winter pastime. Perhaps the only way would be to sail down the Kenney in a innr tube and go jiggin :-)
Peace and Love

I knew the Ludington area well in my younger days. We had a house up in Kalkaska, and my parents had friends in Custer. LOVE it up north, best place to live in MI!

Yeah, the one thing i can say for Paul LaPage (our personal loser politician) is that he has been pretty decent with the medical program.

The way things are going up here at the moment Hammer, colour could be next week :-) This is awful, as here it is january 5th and there is not even a lick of snow here in Central Maine. I do not know if it's Global Warming, or just things gone crazy, but it sure is not like when I was growing up as a kid 40 years ago. I hope that BG and you and the Mrs. get together, no matter what season it is here in Maine. Friendships are so vital for a healthy life, and one cannot have enough of either.
