Condensation In Jars

hi ive just cut my first grow and air dried it for 2 days. the buds started to go crispy on the outside with the stems still bendy. They have been hanging upside down in a dark ventilated box. They are now in jars and have been for about 3 hours at about 72F for temperature.

I have some condensation build up inside the jars so am i correct in thinking i need to dry them for another day in the dry box? my humidity reading from inside the jar is at 45% at the minute which makes me think i need a new hygrometer? i was planning to use the hygrometer inside the jar method.

an help would be greatly appreciated

thanks

If there's condensation inside the jar and the product feel wet to the touch, you definitely need a new hygrometer. If this is the case, take the flowers out until they feel dry on the outside, jar again and repeat as necessary. Good luck.

if there is condensation its way too wet, fuck the hygrometer, put in a apaper bag for a day or two hten back in the jar when stems start to crackle when you bend them,

If you read the original thread on IC, I only recommend the Caliber III and a calibrated Hydroset II. Everything else I tested was relatively inaccurate. The small, digital ebay hygrometers from Hong Kong read consistently, albeit a little high. Which hygrometers are available to you?

I have never even used one ... just when the stem snaps a bit into the jar they go . I'm not exactly pro though .......

im using 1 similar to this but the probe is on a wire http://cgi.ebay.com/Thermometer-Hygrometer-Temperature-Gauge-Humidity-Meter-/350422038578?_trksid=p3284.m263&_trkparms=algo=SIC&its=I&itu=UCI%2BIA%2BUA%2BFICS%2BUFI&otn=21&pmod=310281069734&ps=54.

i was thinking of getting a cheep reptile hygrometer the clock type ones and if there crap too ill spend the £30 on the caliber III

My buds are just entering jars aswell. Yeah they look damn good, but smelling like crap is an under statement LOL. I am on my second grow, and the smell clears up well.
