What separates them from a kid with a screwed up life that becomes and adult and succeeds?

Is it the fault of the 1%ers that this kid was born into unfortunate circumstances?
Now you're trying to have it both ways.

Like I said, a self serving attitude.

College degree doesn't equal wealth though. Some people like doctors make extreme amounts of money but are broke.

I know I'll never make millions and I am okay with that. I'll be comfortable and not live above my means.
I know college does not gaurantee it. That is what I said! I also said hard work does not gaurantee wealth either. Luck helps though.. being at the right places and the right time with the right help.. and so doesnt paying no taxes on the ganja you grow. It brings you into a new income bracket im pretty sure. If your content with your jobs income why come into this illegal gig?

Edit.. i plan on being a multimillionaire:bigjoint:

Please explain? Able body poor people are choosing to be poor. The system is not rigged against them.
A few years ago, when I was growing up and fathering a child, I dropped out of high school and got a job for 1.50 and hour. I was able to buy a 58 chevy and rent a cute little house while my wife stayed home with the child. At this point in our history I'd would say the system is rigged against them with the low wages that haven't kept up with the cost of living, the out of control health care system, and advance of tax codes that favor the rich. We will not be able to sustain our way of life and will destroy that American dream that I had a chance at. You can hate the poor for wanting to eat but most of the time they are stuck there. There are a lot of poor people working their asses off, it's not totally their fault. There are many more factors to consider instead of blaming them for being poor.

Here, here!

Extreme weath and income inequality is making our economy 'worth less' to all involved.

All of it is mute it these theories were true beer would cost $1 a case and cigarettes would be a dollar a carton
I have a cousin who loves the sin taxes. He says if it wasn't for the lottery, beer, cigs and soda, poor people wouldn't pay any tax. I know these taxes work to cut consumption, just not if that is really what we need. A study in one of the Scandinavian countries showed their national retirement system saved $5-7B a year from the early deaths of smokers. If we would encourage smoking, we would save 50X that. Of course lots of folks would die.

Really expensive!!!!!!!!!
Good shit here goes for about $13 US, and the stuff I use daily is about $1 per gram. (28g to an ounce)
You could also buy a parcel, which is about 50g+ for about $15. It gets much cheaper if you go up to Durban's side.

Is pot worthless in Amsterdam? Is it even down to less than 1k a lb? Weird thing about Amsterdam, the shops are allowed to sell it but not allowed to buy it. They have to sneak it in the back door. Pretty fucked up, huh? Did the Govt expect it to magically appear?

IMO light dep and greenhouse are getting pretty good but they still don't touch the top indoor guys work. It's tough keeping conditions perfect in a greenhouse, especially in the winter.
With that said the price of electricity will dictate the price of weed. If it costs 1200 to grow a lb of indoor then expect it to go for 1600-1800. Since greenhouse and outdoor are not quite as good but still good enough for some id expect prices to drop no lower than 800 in an ideal world.

But here's the kicker. I'd imagine that 90% of the weed grown in CA leaves the state. So with all this outsider investment money starting huge licensed farms who are these guys going to sell to? You think the dispensaries can handle the inventory? Plants are tagged and tracked. Tracked to where? This enormous over supply is going to sit in warehouses. Eventually investors are going to realize this gold rush was smoke and mirrors and they're going to sell sell sell just to recoup anything they can. Investors are going to lose their asses so hard. Prices are going to go lowwwww.

Advice, keep your medical patients happy, keep your black market connections, and grow the best weed you possibly can.

I think weed will go much, much lower than people expect.

You could be right. It's not legal to run huge grow ops in the Dam, just to sell in coffee shops. That may be why the price hasn't plummeted there. Nobody can flood the market. Face it, it ain't that hard to produce weed. It's probably the easiest plant on earth to grow.

I agree. If a person has a high income they aren't gonna want to bother with all the trouble. Canopy Growth, a Canadian legal producer, say their cost is $2 something a gram, and that's in a greenhouse. They'd have to get $1000 a lb just to break even. How the hell they gonna sell for $400-600 like Big Mike of AN predicts? Though actually that's Canadian dollars so maybe $750 US. They do have shareholders though, and they're greedy. Breaking even probably won't cut it.
