Would it be beneficial to my plants to add a manure/soil mixture on the top of the dirt. I have some left over from my shroom operation.

Hmmm yeah that is a good point, i think i'll just stick with plain ole foxfarm. The shrooms are coming around pretty nice, on my second grow, harvested 2.7lbs wet last time. This time I moved up from a little growbag to an entire plastic box full. Just broke up the colonized cake and mixed in with the compost 2 days ago and they are already colonizing it.
