i wanna know the most insane set up you guess have ever heard of.. not like this person grew like 35lbs in 2 months but like a great working system that an indoor grower with a little room can make happen :weed:

Hey fdd, that is a nice setup!
Just wondering how the plants grow as they...grow. Won't they shadow each other towards harvest or will they slope downwards?

Al B., great idea i think even if i have only like 7 plants at a time it will be a constant flow of new buds so this sounds sweet thanks a lot

harlesjohn, no worries. The op I depicted, while small and reasonably productive, isn't terribly complex and is noob friendly. A totally new noob could build and run it with a week's study. It's also scaleable, as you noted.

The Octagon is mighty flashy, though looks a bit tricky to build. Sure makes use of every last photon, though!

way to advanced for me. he's on a drip system so each plant gets it's own feed tube. fittings and hoses everywhere. i give my friend A LOT a credit for just maintaining the unit alone, let alone all the plants that go in it.

Agreed, it's enthusiast territory. Bit like owning a Ferrari as a daily driver.

I use a flood because it's slacker friendly i.e. low maintenance and limited failure possibilities. I'm sure I'm trading off some performance for the convenience of being able to not touch anything in the main op for a few days at a time. Floods simply can't clog and don't normally require close supervision. However, pumps in floods can and do fail, leading to minor disasters if a daily 5 minute check isn't done.
