heres my update from the other day. day 51 i think. The shots of the purple buds is blue dream that i am trialing this round with my ck. Its crazy how dark it has turned.

After this grow i am going to start staggering my grow. 1/4 my room every 2 weeks or half every 4 weeks. I havent quite decided yet. Anyone have some input to which might be a better idea. Im going to ditch the scrog for that so i can move my pots around

Wow! Start your use of bloom foods about 2 weeks later then you do now. You'll not get yellowed out, or at least not at all as fast!
You'll increase quality and strength that way too..
Do you "boost" P/K at sometime? I mean that the P is way over used and K is high but, doesn't look too early on that. That's what that color expression is coming from - high K levels...

Try this once ok?
Veg feed till week 2 after the flip.
Week 3 mix veg/bloom 50:50.
Week 4 - full on bloom feeding.

How do/what do you feed anyway?

If you do "boost",,,What do you use and how often?
Got alternatives to that too....

I know you'll be happier with the results that way....

Nice set up

Come to think of it that colour came more after I started using terminator. It's analysis is 4% k. I have been using dnf nutrients switched to bloom nutes 2 weeks into flowering. I have been using dnf base for flowering with massive and started terminator during week 5.
I am all ears to my nutrients regime. I have had decent results from using the dnf line, switched to the massive on recommendation from the guys at my hydro shop and it has yellowed real early. I have always been sceptical of the dnf line as no one on any of the forums uses it, there must be a reason for that as well. An, gh are both companies I would try

DNF is an odd charted line. Using only the base formula's is interesting.....
The ratio's on Massive don't look like they should be making the yellow happen but, formulations between the 2 maybe doing some locking and blocking of available nutrient.....That would create that problem...I don't really like the "Terminator" product for use on cannabis.....

You're in regular soil..correct?
What one?

Lets start with talking about a line change....
Skip the overpriced and watered down AN line...PLEASE!

For working with GH and soil.....I always liked what I could do with the Flora Nova 2 part! Thick and goopy, so you have to shake very well every time you use it.....But the nutrient sources are great, with real nice ratio's. Very nice price too!

Right now, I am seeing simply killer results from the Botanicare "KIND" line from many friends and more are changing over to it from seeing others results from it! From looking at the ratios' and feeding charts, it's simple to see why,,,,they have balanced the ratio's and charting specifically for cannabis! You will have to do some minor "when to change to bloom nutes" with some strains BUT, that's called dialing in for strain needs! I can not say enough how impressed I am with this lines results!
The folks using it are only adding Dyna PRO TEKT Silica and use my home made formula "Sweet Raw" at about 1/2 to 3/4's my feeding suggestions for it.....search the site here for "home made sweet raw" and use my screen name as the filter to find that. This formula will save you 64.00 on a gallon of it!
The KIND line is another less expensive choice.

My go to synthetic for years was a Dutch oldie! HESI nutrients! I would drop the ROOTS and the SUPER VIT and substitute a good organic kelp extract (Maxicrop seaweed) and had fantastic results....This stuff is not cheap!

As far as blasting or boosting near finish.....I liked a mid P, High K around 0-9-18 or a 1:2 ratio.....I would add this at 1 feeding at the start of week 6 - only once! and again at week 7 - only once! This worked about the best I've tried as a booster. High feeders can take a shot at the beginning of week 5 and do as above......It's something to try and use as you zero in on how well it works for that strain. How ever the first suggested use is safe and true. (I say week 7 because the plant always go 1 or 2 weeks longer for me. So yeah, the plant is able to "use" it.)

Atami makes a 0-9-19 supplement called Blossom Builder.....Not cheap but you might try emailing the company for a sample....to start.

There's a start....

Good luck!

I just cut the top off and put it into a pail, mix it with a paint mixer for the 1 part. You must be talking about flora duo.

That Flora Nova works for hydro well too,,,real well...it's just kinda dirty or messy thick.

The KIND works well in hydro too....same call as for soil....

Up to you but a move is a good idea..

My very first hydro grow was a drip system and used the flora nova .... cleaned drippers like every fucking day lol, this rec came from the dumb ass guy at the store but I was dumber lol. Ok so I'm getting a bit disappointed in the flowering time for my ck. I'm at 72 days and I'm hard pressed to find any amber tricomes. I'm starting to think wtf. Of the 3 phenos I grew out one of them is all white hairs still th other 2 look done visually but not under the microscope. After this I am dropping this strain. Way too long.

Bummer, I've heard something like 10 weeks for the cut we are running, I've seen 56, 60 days from breeder info but we all know those are just guesses. I'm 6-7 weeks in and not seeing it packing on weight.

So I chopped them down at 77 days. Will post some pics of this when I get on the computer. Looks like a good yield

Critical Kush is maybe the best strain i have ever grown for yield/quality.. I worked with it for over 2 years and 3 houses. Last year i moved and order seeds again from barneys farm except this time they were not in the breeders pack but in little plastic baggies. I thought nothing of it until last few months. I dont know what this strain is but it sure isnt crit kush. Has anybody ever heard of anything like this before?I have ordered more seeds again from a dealer that arrived this time in breeder packs again but this is setting me back months :(

Same here, cut down some at 8 weeks and the rest at 10, trichomes looked the same for the 8 week and 10 week batch, I think i found two amber trichomes..lol, however the smoke was the same for both.

And they came directly from Barney's? I'm not a huge fan of CK but yes it does throw out some big ass colas.

My experience with ck boils down like this, grows like a sativa smokes like an indica.

Aroma during cure was top notch
Potency 8.2
High= dreamy couch lock
Bag appeal= average

I'm just not getting this .... I really didn't think it was great ... ok ... but not great. I'd give it a 5 where 1 gets me a little high for a little time and ten makes me go ya gotta get some of those plants :). Honestly I haven't smoked a 10 in a long while but the master kush I have now is a 8.5, perhaps 9. No 8.5 lol. I'm picky lol.

Just the same as any other strain, I ran 20 to start then slowly turned down over a 3 week veg, then stopped at 12/12, any longer and they get to tall for my setup. This is just how I ran it but others schedules may differ.
