I started using tupur after i read some posts from @Afgan King. It really was a blind experiment that worked great! Never used a different coco, grew in soil before. I think its better for me cause I know whats going in - i never knew when to start feeding or how much. My first grow was almost killed after i automated my watering - i didn't leave a timer on auto & starved my 4 girls, never really recovered. ALWAYS check your timers/pumps! As you can tell - I'm no pro!

I've just arrived back, and the girls are looking good. I have upped the feed now to 635ppm this includes the root tonic, cannazyme and obviously the A + B. I have adjusted the pH to 5.5 in Res. What I love about this Hempy idea is that although I have made a massive change to the PH and this for alot of people is a big No No, the change will happen gradually at the bottom of the pot, as the pump comes in and displaces what's already in the bottom. Obviously the nute solution draining down past the roots is a different story but I think it will be fine. Here's some photo's.IMG_20170804_160440.jpg IMG_20170804_160436.jpg IMG_20170804_160431.jpg IMG_20170804_160423.jpg

Yep, I'm in royal gold tupur & doing dtw. I've used only canna a&b with cal-mag added, my tap water is around 115ppm.
I like your tray setup too. My tote uses a lot of head room, been looking at ways to lower my table. I also have two pineapple kush girls, too. I had to supercrop one to get her away from them lights!
I'm in tupur now doing dtw but if I go e&f I will use one of those low profile totes that are designed to slide under beds for a reservoir

Just took the girls out to top them and get a good look at the colour of them, under the fluorescent lights, they look quite lime green. But under normal lights I can see they are a nice healthy green. There is the slightest of yellowing on the tips of a couple of leaves. I am going to follow the canna light feeding schedule using the correct ratio of nutes to litres of water it suggests instead of using the TDs pen. I will take a reading for interest and if I think it's far too high or far to low I will keep it around the 650-700ppm mark. Here's a couple of pics of plants outside the tent.IMG_20170812_200934.jpg IMG_20170812_200931.jpg IMG_20170812_200927.jpg

20litres of water, 40ml root tonic, 37ml A+B, 50ml cannazyme.

This brings total ppm to 664

PH to 5.4 - a little on the low side but we'll ride it out.

I'm curious as to if anybody knows of a cheaper alternative to cannazyme. I like the idea of it but for what it does and what it costing Im thinking I may live without it.

I have just added 10 litres to main resevoir of water with 15ml of A+B, 10ml Root tonic and 25ml of cal-mag this has brought the overall ppm to 777 and PH to 5.9

An update:

Missed one last week.

Had a bit of a problem of overfeeding, 777ppm was too high. I lowered it down to 650ppm and I am keeping it there for the time being. I have been adding calmag also.

This weekend I have taken two clones and put them in the aeroponic cloner.
My plan for these little beauties, if they root, is to have them as mother's aswell.
So my game plan is this have two mothers of each strain. This means I can strip twenty clones of two every 4 weeks..... hopefully...

Another short update,

Carrying on feeding at 650ppm with pH at around 5.5. growth is looking excellent and fast! Alot faster in veg than soil ever seemed to be.

The CK clone has started showing its first roots after 1 week the SLH is yet to show.

I have topped everywhere the eye can see, I have defoiled so all the lower stems get some light and I have also supercropped so the the lower stems get more of a fighting chance, I am hoping that within one to two weeks I will be able to take my target of 20 clones....or hopefully somewhere near that, my plan is to get some nice long roots on those, and then straight into flower in 2ltr Hempy bottles.

Here's some pics

First 20 clones taken!!! A milestone!!!

9 - super lemon haze

11 - critical kush

The extra 1 CK was what I took nearly two weeks ago. Rooting well but thought I'd leave it for some extra nice long roots.......the super lemon haze didn't take :-( so I didn't keep herIMG_20170908_205314.jpg

Afternoon ladies and gentlemen,

I left the cloner for the first week with timer set to 15 on and 15 off, when I came at end of the week there wasn't a single root, except the original CK clone that started about 4 weeks ago, so I done some reading and realised that the only reason we are all taught to keep temperatures down is due to bacterial and fungal infections, now as I cleaned the cloner to within an inch of its life and then sprayed with a diluted starsan mixture to sterilise the unit I came up with a cunning plan, I installed an aquarium heater I had laying around, the water temp is around 24c now, I wired it with the pump and then changed the pump timings to 45 on and 15 off this was on Sunday just gone. I've just got back to my garden 5 days later and ..... absolutely buzzed to find roots!!!! Here's a pic IMG_20170922_153316.jpg

Now I know some are not very big, but as this has been a touch of trial and error and I want to get the next batch of clones in this weekend, ready to start rooting for the next three weeks I am going to transplant these puppies and set them into flower, if some don't survive then that's fine, but it's been a long time since I've had a smoke and I want this perpetual sog to start going. Upload some more pics when all transplanted and in their new home

Awesome man, I made one of these and had little success without a heat source as well.
Just wish I could find a 15min interval timer haha

Screenshot_2017-09-22-18-11-01.png I'm just using something similar to this CDank. I think sterile and heat are the way forward, I've ordered some hydrogen peroxide to add to the water aswell.

I have come to the realisation that I will not be taking any clones this weekend to the fact that, last week I topped and hacked too much off my mother's viable clone sites. This is probably a good thing due to the fact that some of these clones haven't got no where near enough length on their roots. One more week, put some root tonic in the cloner, just to help them along.

Just some pics to show, made a drain off table for the flower tent in preparation for next week, also made a stand for buckets as I will require 4 resevoirs in total, three for the flower tent and one for mother's, have a look seeIMG_20170922_191318.jpg IMG_20170922_191323.jpg IMG_20170922_191343.jpg IMG_20170922_190848.jpg IMG_20170922_191334.jpg
