I'm kinda in the same boat as you except I've a led & a hps & im not conducting an experiment as the led hands down puts out more than the hps the comparison is really gonna start when the 315 gets set up I'm thinking it's gonna be close

See the purple stems.
That is a Phos. Def. The Ph is too low with The Flora Nova Bloom. now that it is in bloom. I'm showing 5.0 so...
I'm trying to get it up to 5.5-6.0. Ph up is very weak I'm adding it at a rate of 3-4 times what is needed to lower the Ph. and have still seen no change in Ph in the last hour. The buffers may have the upper hand on Me here. Bummer.
What's more the other plant (Indica Dom.) was showing the same problem before flower that's what the dark leafs were Not N tox. spotty lower leafs, dark green, shiny and purple stems. Oops.

Nice looking buds though

This is certainly a learning exp.:hump:

Seeing a picture up there of Bubba with sativa lookin leaves I was about to say hey, thet doesn't look like bubba, then I realized wusup. Should probably read through whole thread. :)

Sativa pheno of Bubba. Interesting, never seen it.

Nice plants. Good job so far!

Lost a cut of Bubba this past year that I had for about a decade that was sent to me from master on AN forum before it shut down back in the day. So depressing. I love me some Bubba.

I just cracked some Katsu, we'll see if it compares to the oldskool Bubba fire.

Good growing!

Thanks for the props Johnei,

I grew the Indica dom. last grow and the weed was terrific so, I'm looking forward to see what this pheno will be like. Also it's under a new light for Me and the Indica Dom. is under My HPS so same same only different there too...

Peace:peace:

Can't wait to see how that Sativa dom bubba turns out.. thinkin about a bubba with a more 'up' high = fascinating. I want it..lol

Not that you need it but a tip for you with that indica pheno bubba, she responds really good to removing some inner big fan leaves to get more light to the smaller bud sites down the center, all the way down the plant bubba can grow fatties. She's great for that. :) cu

Oh that thing is a big dumby
Super thick stems that do not bend! I have supercropped her twice on the same 4 stems and they still keep growing into the center Constant leaf growth in the center some large some small but, if it's like the last one it will hide The most wonderful bud that I will find when harvesting.
Picking for light is mandatory!
I am keeping the RH low for those reasons also.

Gorgeous plants! for real. Bubba porn at it's finest..lol

(Sorry to be a bugger, but I would suggest you bolt up that power bar/plugs/timers up on the wall off the floor near a hydro water system, and the air pump can hang off a small bungie cord from eye hook on wall also or somethin like that)

I have managed to raise the Ph to just below 6.0 and have lost count of how much Ph up I have used but it was a lot for 6 gal.
I will have a go with My other plant later.

Ya that is a good idea. I was going to do that when I was redesigning and K.I.S.S.ing these rooms. It took the wind out of Me all the up and down of the stairs and what not of growing plants and creating but, it is always a good idea to go back and look at the setup.
I guess that's why I brought all My tools home from work this weekend.

Thank You!

You can mix a pinch of baking soda with about 1/2 cup water will raise ph. a little goes a long ways it's harmless but you can overcorrect low ph. real easy with it it raises ph. by neutralizing acids

Sorry have not posted in a while. Summer is here.
Temps. have been staying really good in My rooms with 80 F. being high for HPS and 315CMH rooms with lights on and lights off temps.showing 74 F. so ... about 6 deg. difference.
Still having some problems with the indica dom. plant it appears that I got the stickman root problem( she tipped over with no support) but, she is still growing. She is on a light diet and seems to be recovering....fingers crossed.
The other plant seems fine and is on a light diet as well 550PPM
She has a nice sweet smell, different than the Indica dom. which is kind of dank like it's predecessor.

Enjoy...IMG_1034.JPG IMG_1036.JPG IMG_1037.JPG IMG_1038.JPG IMG_1039.JPG IMG_1040.JPG IMG_1041.JPG IMG_1042.JPG IMG_1044.JPG
