Curling/twisting leaves

My plant seemed to LOVE the unsoftened water, even giving them some (very little) epsom salts every third watering. I was sure y'all had saved me and all was right with the world! But here I am again, head hung and begging for insight. lol.
I'm growing in a small tent in a non- AC'd small room. Hard to control humidity and temps 50% of the time, as I have to keep the door closed and locked while at work. I cannot run the dehumidifier in there when locked up bc it drives up temps. (I do open the door and run the AC in the adjoining room when home and the dehumidifier which keeps things ideal- temps around 77 humidity at 45) When closed up though, temps are hanging between 75-84 degrees Fahrenheit with about 55-65% humidity.
One week ago today I noticed a white looking glow starting to form around all of the buds on my one girl while under the light, however it wasn't visible without the LED grow light on? This is the same plant that had the curling twisting leaf problem that seemed to correct itself.
After A LOT of research I decided this was powdery mildew and mixed a batch of baking soda and water and misted the plant. Upon inspecting the second girl, I noticed her leaves getting yellow spots and wilting at the bottom. I went to the closest thing I have to a 'grow shop' and they gave me 'safer' brand garden fungicide. I hit both plants with it.
Is this indeed powdery mildew? Should I chop the sick girl? That's what I was going to do today. Just not sure? Are the little buds smoke-able if this is the case? I was thinking of the H2O2 wash I watched by Jorge Cervantes? :!:
Obviously I would like to try and save the other. All the info on my grow is in my original post. I will include some pic.s that I took after dragging her (the bad girl (:) outside.
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!

Will be receiving the Floranova grow/bloom tomorrow. Watered and top dressed with the Epsom yesterday morning, also put them on 12/12 to see if I can get the other to start flowering. Wouldn't surprise me if I was the lucky recipient of a non auto-ing auto.
I am attaching pic.'s from today as an update. It's looking pretty sad. Was hoping the Epsom would perk it up.
on that plant

don't go adding a bunch of floranova fertilizer thinking thatll help

just use the std amounts I suggested

adding to much will only make things worse

go heavy on the Epsom top dress a couple more times over 10 to 14 days and then ease off

for the plant that has no buds yet, you could spray that one 1/2 tps epsom per gallon but don't spray the one with the buds on it

Hello there fellow enthusiasts- I'm brand new to the site (but I have been creepin awhile trying to find answers.) I'm new at this, my very first grow. I'm growing 2 different strains, blue dream auto and blue cheese. Same tent, same water, same light schedule (20/4) , with the exact same growing medium. The blue cheese seems happy as can be, however the blue dream is being a little cranky. lol. This morning I noticed the curling leaves feel almost like tissue paper, and I'm worried for her
She seems to be asking for help. I'm wondering if the water softener is causing the problems for this plant and just not affecting the other? Could this be that I need to add Cal/Mag? I haven't added any nutes at all yet, as they won't even be 3 weeks old until this Sat. I've googled light burn, and it doesn't seem to be that. I'm at a loss. Does this look familiar to anyone? Ugh!

  • Growing from Seed- Blue Dream Auto
  • Plants are 2 weeks 5 days. Their birthday is Sat. they will be 3 weeks old.
  • Plants are approx 4.5”
  • Went from germinated seed direct to 5 gal. smart pot
  • Potted in Fox Farms Ocean Forest, with earthworm castings
  • Watered bout every 3-4 days? As needed really. I have well water with a water softener.
  • Water is Ph'd to 6.0-6.5
  • I have not used any fertilizer on them at all yet.
  • I may mist the leaves with ph’ed water from time to time
  • I use one LED only. The light treads as follows:
SPIDER-60LED-Dim
Power Consumption: 139W (+/- 5%)
Flux:8188Lm
Voltage:85-265V
Frequency: 56/60Hz
Amp: 1.262A/110V
  • Light is about 12" from plants
  • Grow space is 20 Sq. ft. (2’x2’x5’)
  • Temperature lingers in the 70’s and humidity ranges from 50-65.
  • Have seen no real evidence of insect activity- 2 or 3 gnats. Nothing major
  • No growing experience, but sure hoping to learn!
(The healthy looking one is the other strain "blue cheese")

considering your only using 140watt light to flower

you done ok

140watts isn't much light so don't expect big fat colas but you can get some good bud just less of it

id try and get more like 400 watts or more min if you can manage it

I didn't pick up on the light size at first

with a light that small (140watts) the soil will last longer before needing fertilizer if potted up nicely .. you might get 5 or 6 weeks from the soil alone possibly longer if pot is real big

Still 1 teaspoon a week, yea? So over 10-14 days? How's that compute? And if I'm going to add the Flora with the next watering I can't give them both at the same time- correct?
As far as the light goes, the web site said it was a 400W LED. Now that I'm digging further into it, I'm finding that their rated 2 ways? WTH! Well here the entire time I was thinking it was a 400W light.:o
Soooooo, I need another one, gonna have to do some more homework.
Much appreciating the guidance!

yes you can does the Epsom and floranova together when the Epsom dose is lowered to 1/4 tsp

but when using 1 tsp Epsom go ahead and use it on the only water days just to be safe, its likely fine but better safe than sorry

1 tsp Epsom along with a full dose floranova might be a bit high of an EC/ppm when there combined

epsom raises EC a lot

just based off what you've told me id run form them

1000 watts is a 1000 watts no matter what it is and making comparison like that is what gets you screwed over

now it is said to be true for example

a 600 watt LED fixture might produce the same as a 1000 watt HPS fixture but as I understand it that's because of the light spectrum being more desirable

just about to hang her for the first time

just finished assembly literally minutes ago

240 watts

highly efficient and I spent $340 at cob kits

I could have built it for less money but it would have been less efficient

Wow! That's cool, I've read about growers building their own lights, but that's waaaay out of my league right now. That's LED? Hell I'm not even understanding this: You say-
1000 watts is a 1000 watts no matter what it is and making comparison like that is what gets you screwed over
Yet the 400W light that I bought and have hanging is really only 139W?
Would the one in the link work?
'just based off what you've told me id run form them' - What is 'Run form?'

seriously

its not hard to do at all

and cobkits answered all my questions no matter how stupid

along with many youtube videos

I used a

screw driver
metal hack saw
wire strippers
battery drill and a couple bits to screw holes in the metal

if you want a dimmer youll need a soldering iron if you don't care about the dimmer you wont need the iron

if you really don't feel you can do the build yourself

go to

http://timbergrowlights.com

(my kit cost less and is more efficient than this one but this is a good choice if you don't want to learn to build it)

but it would be less expensive at cobkits

plus after you build just one...you can build as many as you want and add on as you can afford it

my kit was $340 for 240 watts spread between 4 cobs @ 60 watts per cobb and is almost 60% efficient at full power

im not sure but im guessing the pre-built kits might be around 46 to 50% efficient for about the same price
