This is Day 58 of Flowering for the (4) Northern Light X Blueberries. I I really wished that the darn camera would take some better shots, but then again, it may be the operator also) :-) GEDC2378.JPGGEDC2380.JPG

They are really getting some great trichs on them, and as I stated yesterday, the window is now open ... But patience will prevail.

Question though on some of the posts I have been brushing up on .... Some say that there should be a "Dark Period: prior to harvest. I have seen anywhere from ! day, 3 Days, and even a few at 7 days. I have also seen a few stating to flush with ice water, and that by doing this method you get more THC.

Also here is a shot of the recent DIY Veg Station using (8) individual gallon jugs underneath the tote cover, plus a scrog that I am currently working on for LST training. As usual, all comments and suggestions are always welcomed :-)

And finally, I think that this is a mutant ? It is growing but is a clone taken from a Northern Light X BlueBerry at Day Number 42 of Flowering. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.

Don't want to take clones from flowing plants. what method are you using to clone? Looks great man, almost there

it takes a long time for a flowering plant to reveg.....you should clone just before you move to 12/12 or keep a mother......I'd say you have 2 weeks or so left on your others...

Thanks to all (3) of you For helping out. I agree that I would rather clone from a plant in the veg stage, rather than from one in the flowering stage. I guess you would say I was trying an experiment of sorts :-)

@Budwich ; Method I would have to say soil. All my plants are in soil, as a newbie, I am finding that it is more forgiving that hydro ... at least until I get more versed into the art of growing. I kind of like doing things by trial and error ... It is all a learning curve :-)

Thats what I have always done, the other day someone told me they started cloning 21 days in to flower and get way better growth on theyr clones...anyone heard of "monster grow"?

I wouldn't think so...it takes longer for a flowering plant to throw roots generally so I'd think growth would be slower.....

I dunno about monster growth but you sure do get mutated growth - the initial growth when you revel is twisted and deformed. I'm in the process of revenging a couple of plants from my last run and the initial growth is showing as a stack of bright green growth emerging from the middle of sloughed off calyx tissue.

I revegged a White Widow once. When I chopped a left a few small branches and buds. It did regrow but it took a very long time and was nowhere near as robust as the original. Kinda scraggly and weird lol. I was just messing around and wanted to try it. There, that's done.

Have you had good results with cloning into soil?? I took cuttings and put them straight into soil for awhile. Success rate was fair, but much better for me with either rapid rooters, or bubble cloner. Both are very cheap options. For a bit I was having a real time with the transplanting from the bubble cloner (I built a 5 gal 24 clone site bubbler for under $20) The only thing they were happy in was Fox Farms LW, everything else I tried burnt the shit out of them. But now I have that down, and can go from cutting to soil in 7 days.

Anyways, just thought I would throw some other options out there. Trial and error is what its all about, and the curve turns into circles, always trying to improve.

You can clone from veg. They do root faster but you invest a lot of time due to bringing it back into veg.

As for soil goes. I'd drop the soil and get some coco. Get a brick of it. Mix it with the required water. Get some perlite and add that to the mix.

Coco is neutral ph.

Do 75% organic coco 25% perlite.

I've even heard 50/50 is good.

This is a soilless mix,Organic and ph is pretty forgiven.

Edit: Dont get 5 Gallons. Grab 20 gallon grow bags. You'll create monsters.

I'm switching over to jiffy "pellets" for cloning and seed starting.

F that, it's like $3 for 30 of them and versus my current method, I don't have to mess with disgusting rock wool. Once that stuff gets on your fingers and in the air I feel it and taste it and it's gross. I'd rather pour nutes on my hands and go eat ice cream with no spoon.

I'm not a fan of Jiffy pellets. It could be my setup, but i have hard time getting them to the proper moisture level and have problems with either mold or wilt. They still work, but my success rate is notably lower.

wanted to share what I have going on now, and future plans. Im 3 1/2 weeks into flower with Pineapple express (sativa dominant pheno) and Gigi bud. Both are g13 labs beans. Never tried any of their gear before, but I am happy with what I am seeing so far.

Also, am in the process of expanding grow space, and just popped for new equipment. Will take pictures of construction process if you guys want?

Equipment purchased was 4X 600w bulbs and ballasts
4 blockbuster 8 reflectors, dehumidifier, ac, co2 tank and reg., 2 6 in max fans.

should be done in a month or so...I am hoping. its been harder and harder to find time because of working multiple jobs already.

love to know what everyone thinks
