Cut a seedling in half, will it live?

Damn so I took off the lid of my humidity dome today and it slipped through my fingers and guillotined my Pineapple Express. About a week from popping. I put the top half in water right away, got some electrical tape and overlapped the stems, taped them up and supported the whole thing with a straw splint.

Will it survive? Should I foliar feed now while it tries to recover or is all hope lost?

It feels like I just killed a member of my family! Dammnnnn.

If it's as young as you said. You'll have better luck with another seed.

Don't worry. I tried making 5 clones. I've got two left. Part of the joys of gardening. Sometimes all you get is lemon juice.

My seedling was about 2 weeks old and a mouse ate the stem at soil level and it just fell over. I literally cut the whole taproot off half way up the stem and stuck it back in the potting mix. And this is her now
So if it's a sturdy strain you might be ok

...got some electrical tape and overlapped the stems, taped them up ?

over lapping the stems did it

if you over lap again scrape the stem first, then smear household honey on the cut

honeys got all therm plant first aid things to repair such issues

if you have the experience try the bubblecloner for 10 days @24/7

good luck

That's exactly what I did. It looked pretty sad yesterday, I will look in a hour and see if it made it.

No worries if not. All the responses here have been awesome.
