Are you talking to the Quantum board 550? I talked to Steve about that light. But didn't receive a response yet? I sent him something on IG they one set up in a 4x4. The one I was looking at had 1210 Samsung diodes and was dimmable. I waiting to hear back from him. The order he was waiting on I think sold out pretty fast. He was telling me about the light and what the specs were. I'll try contacting him tomorrow. But that's exactly what I wanted if you looks at my previous post I wanted 12/50 watt 3590's but someone on here said they were 2 years old already, there going to be coming out with new Cobbs I'm sure. That's why I asked if the CXA is a new Cobb I was just reading about them. When I was talking to timber I was going to put out $1400 for the framework using 12 3590's but someone who was giving me information told me timber is to much money which I agree. I just wanted to plug it in and not build the frame. But timber was giving me $100 off because I'm on 420magazine so you get a small discount. If they wouldn't charge for shipping I would of bought it assembled. They want $1200 just for 12 3590's DIY so I was going to pay an extra $200 for it assembled. The Vero29's were under a $1000 without shipping which they say is for a 4x4 but they only use 6 Vero29's. Thanks for the Feedback Bro!

Hey fellow Growers
I've been looking for Cobb lights I heard the Cxa is a new line of Cree Cobbs? I'm going to be getting supplies to build my frame next week and wanted to know if someone could point me in the right direction of which are some of the best Cobbs and most efficient on the market now? JimmyC has been giving me good information and suggestions. I'm not too familiar with cobb lighting that's why am asking for help. Or if someone could recommend a DIY kit for a 4x4 Grow area it will be in a tent. I would really appreciate it. I know some people don't like giving out there sources and I understand that. My price range is about $1000 maybe a little more. I appreciate any feedback!
Happy Growing
Are you 215 northern or southern? I seen a deal for you.

Two of these http://www.cutter.com.au/proddetail.php?prod=cut3103 would have been the goto purchase (12 cxb3590 3500k 600watt system) about a year ago.

Today, this six of this panel setup https://northerngrowlights.com/collections/all/products/90w-board-kit?variant=30778867976 seems to be the lower cost & wattage LEDs to have.

Both are sold out ; (
You might want to look at the Quantum board. Depending what your Grow area is, The 550 can flower a 4x4 no problem. That's the 550 some nice Colas!

Looking Nice! What size is your Grow area? You built your frame? How did did everything cost if you don't mind me asking?
The foot print is 42"x44", not sure what the current price is on the Cutter's mauIV kits run, I combined the 8 on a some 1/2' aluminum, and called it good.
I also am running same strain under 4 Quantums, they are at day 35, (in quantum section)

So you have the 550 like the picture I just posted? What light system you like better the Cobbs or the Quantum's? Steve said he was going to be selling the Quantum 550 4 panels for a $1000 but he was going to lower the price. You have nice light systems!

Hey guys I have some questions. Im looking at the Growmau5 Vero29 kit with 4 cobs running at 90 watts each and i have a 4x4 tent. Do you think 2 of these units will have heat issue in the summer? And is 720 watts too much for a 4x4?

Happy day, finished installing a GM 11 COB last night, it replaces a 600 DE MH on a light mover, so far I am very happy . way better light foot print. Way way cooler. I also had the inspired idea of using a prefabbed aluminum railing product as a scaffold. Turned out to be a great idea I can move the lights around on the railing as I see fit I am not committed to what ever Idea I came up with before laying out all the lights.

If your grow game is on point 720w is awesome, but you could dim these to around 550 to 600w and still crush it.nice to have the extra power there if ya want it.720w is about like running a 1000w hps in there par wise.

Be sweet to see some pictures of your build/setup.
