Hi man
Pardon my ignorance, I don't claim to be an authority on the subject by any means, but my understanding was it's not for the health of the plant, more for your health because you're smoking the plant where if you were eating the plant you would want to keep all those nutrients in. Am I way off here? Thanks:bigjoint:
I too do not claim to be an authority on the subject either lol.
From the info i read on sites like this and my own experience growing my finished product is better when I don't starve the plant of the things it needs.
I do taper off my nutrients in the last week but never down to nothing.
Some people even ramp up in the last week or two.
A good dry and cure will always make the weed taste better not a long flush, and this is down to the chlorophyll in the bud and leaves, also the breaking down of sugars during curing makes for a smoother smoke.
I'm no dietician either so can't comment on the eating thing but I suspect the nutrient we are talking about may be completely dif things but fook knows ha.

Peace out.

The nutrients aren't stored in the buds, so flushing does nothing for them. The nutrients go to the leaves that provide the energy for the plant to grow and flower.

Right on man sounds like my best bet is a little experimentation I have 10 plants that normally would be due for a flush I'm going to flush 5 and leave 5 and see what happens. if one is shittier BHO

And lol when I read posts on here I figure Everyone's an expert, and the little bit I've learned from youtube doesn't amount to shit hahaha:bigjoint:

Been looking at these 1000w de 400v lights but running in a tent heat and limited space keeps putting me off,
I think i could run them from now till may next year with a cold air intake but in summer without running aircon i wouldn't stand a chance.
Being in the UK stealth is a must.

What you getting per plant and how many lights per plant if you don't mind me asking?
Also what kind of distance between lights and plants with these 1000w de so not to bleech?

I have grown ak47 in soil and it could take a real hammering with the nutes a very forgiving plant imo, this cookies kush is way too sensitive but the bud in lovely.

Good speaking and swapping notes with you, always learning and trying new shit imo make you a better grower through trial and error.
Old setup was 12 lights over 36 plants. New setup will be 14 over 24. With air blowing across the canopy I run as low as 18" with no issues. Varies by strain obviously but average somewhere around 2.4-2.5 lbs per light.

Absolutely. Even if you don't agree or like how someone else grows there are always little things you can take and improve on in your own grow.

I didn't read any of this thread, but a dark period before flip is not needed at all. Just flip 12/12 and guess what? You'll end up getting a 12 hr dark period lol :dunce:
