Hey guys just looking for some professional opinions. Plants are on day 34 since potting the clones getting very bushy too bushy in fact so ive moved the lights higher in the hope they start growing upwards again since training them. Plan on vegging for another 3 weeks but if they get any wider i wont be able to move in there lol. How they looking?

Looking great.
What are the lights?
HPS?
If so, keep them about 30" above canopy, and that will be fine.
Oh, by the way, I would only do a 4 week veg before flipping.
Do it now

When you say keep the lights 30" inch above canopy is that applying just to vegging? Or are you saying should keep them 30" inch above right through to harvest? Because if so i may have to flip them sooner then id hoped. I read that you can get as close to the lights as about 18" as long as it isnt burning the buds n such?

You think i should flip now? They are only 12" tall out of the pots atm accounting for the double in size during flower and keeping them at most 18" from the lights when the lights are as high as they can go i worked out that they good to grow another 8" easy?

You have to consider the spread of the light, as the closer you are, the less light spread, so keep them up high enough to cover the entire canopy. I run my lights at around 3-4' above canopy for an even spread, all the time.
Remember, 1200 Watts HPS is a LOT of light, it really doesn't have to be that close, it's not LED.
Also remember that standard practice is 4-5 weeks veg (I do 5), because you plants will triple in size once they are flipped

If they are 12" now, expect 36" high at harvest on average for the Indica, taller for the Sativa
