Hey everyone!! I need some help here please!! I know my stuff to grow some damn good buds but right now I'm kinda puzzled... I'm on day 71 of bloom and I have 75% milky trichomes and NO amber. I picked one bud 2 days ago and have had it drying so I can test it soon but my plant is showing signs of the end of the lifecycle. I am growing fruity pebbles OG that I was lucky enough to get one seed in a couple ounces I got. I have been flushing for 3 days now if that helps. The room getting pretty stinky lol just need some feed back because I want the Bud to be more of a high like couch lock and I know everything I have read is saying the trichomes need to turn... 1520996846684111063523.jpg 1520997066219163202584.jpg 15209971392192055910583.jpg 1520996846684111063523.jpg 1520997066219163202584.jpg 1520997066219163202584.jpg

I’d say you have at least 2 weeks left the hairs have t receded yet and hasn’t started to swell yet.
Hey bro thanks for the advice! So I'm no dummy, I know the 7-9 weeks bloom is BS in most cases. I started bloom 1/2/18 so it's well past that. It's over 6ft tall and the buds are kinda staying the same size. Smell is getting stronger for sure. Here's another picture of it and the one I cut down a couple days ago. I don't have a jewelers loop but my camera is very good. So 75% milky and from all the pics about 2 more weeks? Should I go back to feeding again?

$*×+@?!/#^ damn it ok lol I was just praying I wasn't letting go to long. I want the couch lock high from it and everything I read says they have to turn like 30% or more, is that true? I've grown before but I never knew the strain. Now I got my hands on a lemon OG kush seed and well I hate to say about 40 of some kind of OG but all very nice looking so very good chance of females. Any inside tips for OG strains? I'm pretty amateur here but I have about 900 watts of CFL and 2 square red blue white orange led panels for my one plant. Started in a solo but in a 5 gallon from 3 weeks on. I am on cheaper nutrients but grow/bloom, booster, and a squid protein. Soon I'll be using one called bio bloom in the bloom stage with the other 3. Guy I talked to said it would make the world of difference to add that to the bloom stage.

Yea I’d definitely say 2 weeks minimum. Take a tester nug dry it and try it out in between than compare it to the high you get when you harvest once it’s done

I'll agree with the rest and say 2 more weeks should be about right. I had a strain that would never turn amber. I forget how many days past 70 it was. I chopped it when it looked very done with no white hairs in sight. Are you running a 400 watt light by any chance? I think a weak light will extend the flowering time some.

I am actually running 900watts of CFL and 2 square red blue white orange led panels... I know CFL is cheap but hey it works lol.. as of right now everything it still going great, I just added a very little bit of nutrients to a gallon of ph'd water. I was flushing but I'll do that in a week now.. one small branch I picked is just now curing but smells wonderful.. I'll keep everyone updated on my beauty lol next to come is lemon kush.. will that Fu@* up my house?

Hey carguygtp05,

Your plant isn't really showing signs of end of cycle. To me is looks like it was being slightly over-fed (Nothing too bad).
Otherwise it's all good. The plant looks good and is full of trichomes

Day 71 doesn't mean it is the end, it depends on the strain. I think you still have about 10 days left. If you started the final flush, it's good. Just keep watering with plain water, keep watching the trichomes and you'll be just fine!!

Cheers from Ireland,

As everybody is saying, at least 2 more weeks. See all those straight white hairs? As long as you see those, you're still not ready.

As of right now I would have about 8 more days from the days I posted this... everything seems to have come to a hault but I can tell different... leaves are definitely going on it, buds are dense as fuck, and the smell is dank as fuck... still no damn amber trichomes tho...

ever picked apples

as thats how trics go

not all trics will go amber at once

but gradually and the most lighted trics turning first

yeah ...just like apples

next grow select a strain that suits your requirements

should you wanna play with the big boys

an upgrade of your lights is a must

good luck

1 315cmh will out perform 3 250real Watt CFLs . I use to veg with CFLs , in the long run the CMH are cheaper then the CFLs too

Well 1st off from what I've read about fruity pebbles she isn't a couchlock strain.
As for the grow, lots of people start counting at 12/12 flip but thats not correct. Day 1 is when you can visually see flowering starting. So I would guess you are most likely at 70 to 72 days today.
Stop feeding her I think you are giving her N which prolongs buds finishing.

Is she ready yet?

The answer is no.
It’s close, but I still have clear trichomes
Receded pistils and Enlarges calyxs are just signs you are getting close, not 100% the right answer, only a scope will tell you 100% .

They are like $20
It will pay for itself the 1st time you look through it an realize that they are still getting bigger n better . Im sure you’ll harvest a better crop n be up a lot more then the cost of the scope .
