Dayton fan or Inline? Im confused..

I'm pretty sure the dayton fan you are referring to is a squirrel cage blower, the alternative is the inline fan - blowers are better at dealing with higher static pressure (they can pull air through carbon filters better)... the inline fans drop off pretty significantly when you put any kind of blockage in the air flow (this includes filters, or sharp turns)... the blowers are not as easy to work with though, because they dont really have inlet duct connections, and the exhausts are usually square instead of round.
