Legal fees is exactly right ... and that's the ONLY thing the ACLU cars about.

The 1976 Civil Rights Attorney Fee Act (42 USC, Section 198. stipulates that in any civil rights law suit, the attorneys for the defendant shall be awarded attorney fees and court costs EVEN IF THEY LOSE.

Like A.C.O.R.N., and so many other Progressive organiztions, the ACLU is about money, power and advancing socialism.

Unless they take the case on for free, which the ACLU does do. The press coverage they get on big cases is very important to them. If people have no way to pay they will pick it up if they think it will get them some airtime.
