Reaganomics killed America’s middle class

That rat-bastard Reagan ruined America and deserved every moment of his death, pissing and shitting himself, drooling and groaning, unable to make a word, not even remembering his own name. He earned that death, many times over. The Puritanical States of America should be broken up, starting with California. Fuck the PSA. DEATH TO AMERICA!!!

I knew I could come up with a post none of you pansies would touch.
I doesn't make much sense.

Reaganomics did the middle class no favors, but a lot of other factors have impacted the erosion.

Modernization alone eliminated thousands of jobs, and modernization involves corporate investment.
When a company pays a billion for a new state of the art machine (like mine did) that is generally applauded as a long term investment to jobs and staying in the area. It aIso cuts jobs and damages the middle class.

There are a lot of reasons for middle class decline, not just one 8 yr. presidential term.

That's not to say Reagan didn't suck, but there's a bigger picture to be seen and studied.

A typical Nixon blast was his 1964 comment during a trip to Asia that “it would be disastrous to the cause of freedom” for the U.S. to recognize Red China, which is precisely what he ended up doing.

Nixon Also opened the door to the WH for Corporations by Inviting the Oil Industry to fix the oil embargo.

Didn't Reagan close all of the psychiatric hospitals?

In California, when he was Governor. I believe.
One month prior to the election, President Carter had signed the Mental Health Systems Act, which had proposed to continue the federal community mental health centers program, although with some additional state involvement. Consistent with the report of the Carter Commission, the act also included a provision for federal grants “for projects for the prevention of mental illness and the promotion of positive mental health,” an indication of how little learning had taken place among the Carter Commission members and professionals at NIMH. With President Reagan and the Republicans taking over, the Mental Health Systems Act was discarded before the ink had dried and the CMHC funds were simply block granted to the states. The CMHC program had not only died but been buried as well. An autopsy could have listed the cause of death as naiveté complicated by grandiosity.
