I call that lolipopping and yes it is a form of defoliation. But mainly i think when cannabis growers say defoliate they mean the removal of the older developed fan leaves.
Pretty much exactly what I mean really. I just want to understand the terms cause personally I've always said defan but considered it the same as defoliation. I only remove large older fan leaves that block light. I'm just gonna say defan lol no need to argue over it lol

Not trying to lecture but I prune and trim plants on a weekly biases (non MJ). The wrong terms gets thrown around on here. (and im no expert and dont claim to be)

Defoliate is to strip all the leaves (at the very least the vast majority of them). Agent Orange was a chemical defoliant that they could spray on the tree canopy in the jungles and the tree would loose all of its leaves. Making spotting the enemy easier in thick growth jungle. Its not what you do. It is what 3alight does.

Pruning and trimming in the real would means to cut and shape selectively. Which is what you do,

i was calling myself a beaner. Im puertorrican. Lol
Okay, I dig- as it turns out I've had a bunch of Puerto Rican friends over the years.

Most of them expressed nostalgia for the island, while at the same time saying they're not interested in returning there to live, lol I gather the economy is all fucked up due to their not quite statehood status.

Far from saying our various cultural heritage shouldn't matter, I feel strongly that it DOES. We need people of all walks of life to make a nation, and we need to include everyone to call it 'indivisible'.
