And here I thought tom daschle was just kicked from the senate, must be another tom I'm thinking of.
To make him head of the department of health and human services after a life time of whoring himself
to the pharmacy cos is sadly laughable.
He's just another tax avoiding scumbag that obama has lined himself up with.
Do we not judge a person by the company he keeps?
Hell, maybe nancy pelosi is right, we do need to start sterilizing people soon.
...and natrone you're first! Do we really need a future with little natrones running around?
bla hahaha...
Wheres the extreme outrage over the iraq cost now?

I guess more time is needed.

8 years and you still havent realized you've been had....what does that say about you?
I'd say more like the last 16 years has been one cluster fuck..

'change'.... for a dollar maybe, but I think it's worth only 78 cents.
And with the looming inflation that 78 cents might be worth 28 cents soon.
wow, if I was in your position i'd feel totally fucked over...Oh, wait I'am.

Not yet, But I wouldn't doubt it. Obama has been caving in to the repukes way too much. He needs to tell them to get fucked and push the stimulous package as originally drawn up by the dems. Here's the deal, they lost, fuck them. They had the last 12 years to straighten this country out and fucked it to tears. Why would Obama even listen to them?

how could you argue that the massive economic boom that happened during the clinton years was a "cluster fuck"?

All our booms did for us is leave us in the position we're in now. It started with deregulation during Reagon's term and continued to get looser and faster all since then until we all hit a wall.

You can thank every administration from Reagon to the present for the situation we're in now. Great economic gains in exchange for long term stability has just been proven to be a very bad idea.

I'm no economist, but I find it fascinating that the most fruitful eight years of my working life were under Bill Clinton.

But his point was, artificial economic booms are not a good thing, they lead to malinvestment whcih have to be corrected by economic recession.

TO be clear, Obama is a politician and we all know how much politicians suck. But lets not forget the alternative was a guy (McCain) who said "the economy is fundamentally strong" mere hours before the biggest economic collapse in a century and perhaps of all time. Can someone explain to me how McCain would have been a better choice given his deep understanding of the fundamentals of our economy and all?

Obama and McCain both suck.

Now that Obama is president, I wonder what bunch of idiots are advising him on his cabinet appointments? Honestly, I wish Obama nothing but luck ... but so far, he's an embarrasment to himself.
