Democracynow.org is my go to for news and unbiased reporting...any other source I happen across seems to have an agenda but Amy and her team do a great job presenting the facts as well as differing viewpoints. All around great reporting that beats the hell out mainstream media is really quite nice.

Malalai Joya, first denied a visa to come to the USA then under pressure of US citizens has been allowed to come into the USA is a former member of the Afghani Parliament who is essentially having to run for her life after exposing the corruption in the Afghan and the USA's money flow away from the people it is supposed to have helped.
In essence billions of dollars for the people of Afghanistan have been diverted to Afghani War lords and when this brave woman opposed them they got rid of her out of Parliament and threatened her life.
According to Malalai Joya and I understand U.N. Reports too Afghanistan is now the second most corrupt country in the world and the ones paying the price are the woman and children and common men of the communities that go with out food and other needs.
This is a rare chance to see an empowered Afghani Woman of intelligence and beauty.

What needs to be understood by the younger generations than Mr. Moyers is that America has been a country on the Citizen and now it is the land of Organized Wealth.
With this change we see that war is good and food stamps are bad.
