Democrat leadership should start preparing for the biggest backlash in U.S. history.

I'm always nuetral....it's just hard for you to see me from your far far left viewpoint  I just call them the way they are. Not the way I wish them to be. But Med Man, thank you for posting that, there's hope for you yet! (wink wink)

You're right, I did misunderstand. Sorry about that. :(

kiss-ass

You obviously misconstrued my comment.

It defends their right to carry any damn show they please.

What I meant was there was a reason that freedom of speech and the press are the first rights listed.

Maybe those internment camps were designed for them.
traditionally, internment camps have been designed to hold anyone who is not in favor with the presiding party. the rich, malcontents, unpopular intellectuals, any minority that the mob can fix their hatred on. unless you are perfectly in line with the concepts of global dominion and totalitarian rule, you might end up in such an institution as well. your penchant for owning firearms might very well be enough to land you in your friendly neighborhood gulag or maybe your association with the undesirables on this very forum will be sufficient reason for imprisonment.

be careful what you wish for. such camps are there, for the most part, to satisfy the mob's thirst for vengeance and you can never tell who might be seen as a proper scapegoat.

So, are you always an asshole or is it just me that provokes your hateful rhetoric. I suppose your postings on this site could be construed as subversive and we may be sharing a space in that detainment camp. That would be interesting to say the least.

Well, it seems pretty obvious that while Obama may be smart, he is still politically naive. Handing the stimulus bill over to Pelosi was a huge error in judgment which doomed his pledges of unity from the first week in office. it's amazing that he is publicly surprised at the outcome, and has now seriously entrenched the very govt. he swore to change. What's it been .... 10 days? I think Carter took longer to show his naivete.

It's not all bad news (still mostly tho ) Obama was able to derail the Dem effort to get into a trade war. What are those people on Capitol Hill smoking? They need to quit whatever they are taking because it is obviously dropping their IQ's precipitously.

i doubt they smoke. More than likely, they are rich junkies. If you have enough money, one can do h and live a pretty normal life. We'd probably be surprised how many rich dudes do heroin.

i'll admit that your naive posing does bring out the worst in me, but i don't think it could actually be called hateful. i'm merely pointing out the obvious fact that you can never tell which way the wind will blow. with all your calls for vengeance against the evil corporations and the soulless rich, you seem oblivious to the history of totalitarian takeovers. when regimes change and unrest threatens, it is seldom the guilty who pay the price.

I suppose your postings on this site could be construed as subversive and we may be sharing a space in that detainment camp. That would be interesting to say the least.
i'd look forward to meeting you, if only to see the look on your face as you realized that vengeance cuts both ways and the common man has no friend in government. being no closet anarchist, i'm quite acquainted with the downturns one's life may take when holding an unpopular point of view, but i wonder how a champion of the downtrodden would take to the realization that he has swallowed the lies and still must pay the price.

what little subversion i may be guilty of on the boards is probably among my lesser sins, but i would be proud to have them considered egregious enough to warrant my incarceration as an enemy of the state. i may be capable of seeing the necessities behind the actions of these political animals, but, unlike you and the deluded followers of the liberal establishment, i have never been a disciple of our would-be masters.

my one regret would be that i couldn't bring along my stash, so we could at least share a bit of something decent to while away the hours.:bigjoint:

the quest for power is a dangerous drug that is incredibly addictive to those predisposed to its use. it dulls the intellect, while completely obliterating all sense of decency and conscience.

You know, I just don't get this referance of me as the followers of some commie liberal movement. I think for myself from my life experiences. I have seen most sides of the equation and my viewpoint stems from seeing the rich run rampant on the lessor endowed minions. I have never personally been the object of their scorn, well except on this site, but I realize we live in two different worlds. For all his sins, John Edwards was right about that. "A faithful man will be richly blessed, but one eager to get rich will not go unpunished" Proverbs 28:20

Then you need to do one of two things ... or perhaps even both.

1. Go take a good look in the mirror.

2. Reread the multitudes of posts you've made here in this forum where you have championed big government, higher taxes and more government control over the private sector.

You may not consider yourself to be a Marxist, Med ... but if it walks like a duck ...

Vi

PS: So far, not one word has escaped your lips regarding Daschle's, Geitner's or Rangel's tax evasion. Why is that, Med?
