Still wondering how this will work...or really how much to charge. $20 a plant per month ($80) is what I've heard, but that seems low to me when you can pull 7 oz per plant indoors (over $1000 at $5 per gram)...

I would think it would depend on the script size and the deal brokered between patient and grower. Cost to produce would need to be considered.
Most folks I've heard talk about the subject have said $1 a gram plus grower keeps overages.....to destroy with kitty litter.

Interesting. I didn't think charging by the gm was permitted, but we are still at only about $200 per plant which is I guess is better than $80. ($20 per plant per month x 4 months) This is using my 7 oz per plant theory, which depending on stain won't hold up every grow.

7oz was a tree grown indoors under 2000 w HPS...my best results to date.
I dont mean to insult or provoke...but under 1000w hps i regularly pulled 6 zips per plant ....usually 4 plants vegged 4 weeks. From various strains... and back then i was just starting out...

So....how is 7 zips off one plant a tree?

Thanks, I did not know my account was limited. Lots of good reading here. And yes, boycott anything that has to do with the Liberals and their gawd expensive weed. I was appalled.

Welcome to RIU MIO. I was looking into this last year and the price I was quoted several times was $3/g, and the DG keeps the overage. I decided to take a try at growing my own because I want all the plant material so I can make edibles. YMMV.

$3 per gram is alright I guess if you are unable to grow yourself ... growing yourself you should be able to get the cost down to below a dollar a gram

If it's on the books the LP's charge anywhere from $6-$15/g, so no matter what you can write off $3/g is better and the quality should be also.

Charging $1500/lb? They might as well go black market if you're going to charge them street prices.

Is everyone here just about the money?
LMAO...i was just thinking the same...70 plants, even a shitty grower can get 4-5 zips a plant. In the end it is for a cancer patient that simply requires pot. Seems like the wrong site. Cheers
