Just ordered some of these Devils Harvest Strawberry sour deez beans... Anybody grow this? Smoke this? Ordered soley on the assumption that it sounds/looks like good herb & saw a YouTube vid of some dude making some very tasty looking wax from this strain.... Can anyone out there in RIU land confirm this?

i don't see how strawberry x diesel would be anything but strong..

i've grown sagamatha's strawberry d'lite, which is strawberry cough x sour d, pretty much the same genetics as the strawberry sour d from these guys.. the strawberry d'lite was pretty nice smoke with a mild fruity taste in combo with that fuely diesel'ness..

Not everything that smells and looks good gets you high, i've tried enough of the glamour strains to understand that just because something tests high and looks good doesn't mean its going to hit you hard. I have tried blueberry that tasted like blueberry pancakes and i could smoke that shit all day and barely get a buzz.

i hear you, that's why i'm not a fan of most tga gear as it seems that sub breeds for flavor first and potency like 3rd or fourth..

I have pennywise and jack skellington going right now in the testing phase to see if it is a keeper. After I get the pennywise tested I will know how to feel about subs gear. I have grown agent orange before but that was from a clone so I feel I haven't had enough experience with his stuff to have an opinion. I like that he only does regulars and I have seen plushberry and chernobyl that looked pretty good. I hate to look at a strain and think its amazing and then sit there going... "are we there yet?"

The devils harvest strawberry sour diesel pheno I got of a 3 seed drop (one no show, one fem, one male) was super stretchy and had a citrusy fruity smell. It didn't yield a ton but the nugs were very tight and dense. I really couldn't detect strawberry or sour d in there, I would venture a guess that the sour d was soma's line. The male was more leaning berry in smell and was very diminutive compared to the female. The smoke is strong potency, the taste is not that good but not that bad either and fairly smooth. I wasn't stoked to run the remainder of the pack, but someday... maybe

**Their Shoreline has some really nice phenos, I had an oasis leaning one that I really wish I had back.

What is 2nd and 3rd if potency is 4th?

I'm no pushover, and I've had kicka$$ Timewreck, Ripped Bubba, and Chernobyl. Does that make me the luckiest boy in the world?

I'd try any JTR hybrid even though straight JTR can be too racy for my tastes. I almost pulled the trigger on Jack Skellington a dozen times or more. Hope you'll post your findings when you're done.

I will keep you updated on the good, I kinda just toss the bad before I take any pics. Also if you know how to make it so the digital image doesn't know where you are that would be helpful. As I am worried about security.

I thought about that. I use a $30 Fuji digital camera - not a phone - so I'd have to be tracked by internet isp, not GPS, right?

Im hoping a lot of both. I was interested mostly due to all the youtube reviews haling this strain and I agree how could crossing the original strawberry cough and original sour diesel turn out bad?

Yes also true. The beans just arrived so now we wait for a smoke report maybe during the summer- got a few other strains still in veg right now so will be awhile before i can pop an SSD to get a mama and then some clones to go into the flower room.

I am excited and watching everyones progress. The Jack Skellington was given to me by my former boss because it is supposed to flower fast and produce some frosty frosties however the name itself turns me off right away. For one sub was selling these $15 more than what he was selling his other beans for and two we all know about the pumpkin king hahahah. Every scene kid in the world knows jack skellington and that makes me think the strain is all hype. Who knows we will see... I just got done toking some of my gsc and im ripped. :D

I wouldn't put too much stock in the name - of the 1000s out there, picking a catchy new name that also indicates what the strain contains can't be easy. At least he was able to work the Jack from Jack the Ripper into it.

As to the price increase, that's happened to all newer TGA strains after the initial offerings. JS was first, but everything introduced in the past year or so is even more pricey.

I woudn't sweat how your JS will turn out - I have some JTR in my morning chernobyl smoke - always tasty, always blazes. :)

apologies to the OP for following along the tangent.
