Ive got a chupacabra right now from SickMeds that smells like the first devils harvest strawberry sour diesel I grew, so far the chupacabra is far superior in every way, we'll see how the new regular strawberry SD I recently started will do for me. CareStaker your's look way way way better than the fem version I grew a couple months back.

Fuck to the yeah, looks great man!
Thanks man, I pulled a nice pheno. I'm running her clone in flower now to see how it holds up. Flavor sure is nice. Don't know about the other phenos, but mine was almost all sativa. Buzzy up high for the first 30, then a clear kind of elevated state that comes with a happy stone....no crash. Long lasting and slow tolerance build up, but there is some.

That Chupa looked nice, good to hear she's got promise. I caught a nice lady for sure. She might have been Fem, not sure. Good luck with the Reg, hope she shines man.

The one seed I popped was the same, really energetic but not scattered high, and no crash, she got pretty huge too, yielded 3.5 zips with a month of veg in a five gallon bag, very little effort on my part.

I Vegged the seed plant long, due to low RH maybe 8 weeks, and got about 125 of jar worthy nugs in mostly soil mix, 5 gal/fabric. Easy feeder for me too.

This below was her clone, that I mothered her out, and was left with this...so I'm like why not grow it out lol. This one better do a heck of a lot better than 125, but she's also in a 7gal too.

She's about 4 weeks in, 4.5-5weeks left.big.jpg ssd.jpg ssd2.jpg ssd3.jpg

looks nice, you are gonna get a phenomenal fade on her, u digging the smell so far? I just harvested yet another chupacabra, to me it is the same smell as the other devils harvest strawberry sour diesel I grew I am am just getting to know this ''line'' of weed. I gotta say I am not impressed with any of the ''strawberry varieties'' I am growing right now. I still have 2 regulars devils harvest SSD I am about to flower within the next couple of weeks but I can guarantee you those are not plants that I will bother cloning before flowering... if they turn out great I will reveg but I gotta say so far really unimpressed with anything strawberry related...

I'm not getting as much aroma out of her that I did last time...trying to keep RH up in winter, but she's smelling pretty serious. Right now, it's flinty diesel-pine and skunk, no fruit. The pheno I got is almost all sativa head, and just a little floaty on the body. Potency is up there, she'll make a newbie panic if they take more than a hit or two, she's got a good punch. I like her better than Strawberry Blue, which was vibrant and clear, but otherwise unremarkable and not as potent.

I'm not sure if I'll keep her around for long, but she's been fun to know. Friends like her a lot. I use her in the morning to get going, she's like caffeine and a smile. Diesel blast, with the Cough-like stone. I've tried some of the Swiss Erdbeer crosses, and I didn't find anything there that I liked. Hope you find what you're looking for Santa.

She's really coming on now, going to run her to 67 days of 12's or about 62 days in flower. Terps are really there, despite dealing with some VPD. Density is about average for Diesel types, so she's not super dense, but will yield alright. I'm keeping it around for a while...she's still impressing, here at Day 59 of 12s, day 54 flower, one more week to go. ssdtall.jpg ssdw.jpg

cool she looks great! I just put one in the flower room a few days ago. And another one going in soon. Both females from regular seeds. I hope they turn better than the fem version. I ve grown some diesel and strawberry flavored weed recently so I m becoming more familiar with the stink.

View attachment 3858070 View attachment 3858071 View attachment 3858072 View attachment 3858073 View attachment 3858074 I'm liking her far better than I thought I might. Thew just one seed. Taste is mostly strawberry, and some pine - heavy luxurious smoke - I'd give it an 8. Yield was good to average. Potency was 8.5 easy, she's too much for beginners. Easy as pie to grow. I've shared my cut with friends, and they all love her too. There's some fire in there for sure.
That looks like straight fire. You deffo had that room dialled in to the T!

She was tolerant of most things, not a heavy feeder, pretty easy to grow, not a diva. High recommend.
Thanks, I may try her out as my first sativa. I'm thinking that or the Garlix (Chem DD x Stardawg) I have, which is also easy to grow (supposedly).

I'd go with the strawberry. Chems crosses can be a bit more finicky than the norm imo. I'm ordering some Reg seeds. That was one seed, and her clone. Probably a narrow field, but there's got to be some freaks in there. Still loving it way more than I thought I would.

Just ordered some of these Devils Harvest Strawberry sour deez beans... Anybody grow this? Smoke this? Ordered soley on the assumption that it sounds/looks like good herb & saw a YouTube vid of some dude making some very tasty looking wax from this strain.... Can anyone out there in RIU land confirm this?
I grow This strain and it's awesome. it's rather easy to grow as well. I know this is 2yrs late but thought I'd add my experience for someone else wondering the same thing.

Yea it's a great strain that isn't too difficult to grow. I just harvested two of these plants this week. It gets a gorgeous purple color on top of the nugs in the later weeks of flower. Check out my YouTube page Greatlake Genetics. I document my first grow with Fluence Spydrx Plus LEDs that are full spectrum and powerful as he'll at close to 1300 per in the center of the 4x4 area and 900s on the edges! As well as my first time growing the NO TILL Organic way, which I loved besides a little issue with fungus knats or Aphids. I have a strawberry Diesel plant in the middle of each Indica act of, because I supercropped the diesel and kept them bushy and with even canopys. They like nitrogen and get covered in fur like my Original Sour D from Cali Connection. It's a 63 day flower, though I still use a microscope to check trichromes and ended up harvesting these recent two plants on day 61. They are pretty resistant to bugs and other issues as long as you give them what they want and keep the stalks green and healthy. The yield is average to above average...depending on your grow techniques. It's very easy to trim compared to most, just like it's brother Original Sour D....they have a small leaf to calyx ratio as most sativas do. I leave a little more sweet leaf on when trimming because it has a great purple color that curls up over the bottom of the nugs and gives it that sweet bag appeal!
Watch my videos on my channel Greatlakesgenetics and if you have any more questions please ask. If i know the answer or someone i know does then I will help you in anyway. Good Luck with everything...keep in touch.

Sincerely,
Greatlakes Genetics

Hi Anthony. thanks for all the information. am definitely going to try this as my first strain. will check out your page too!
now time to get my set up in place.
was looking at growing 4 plants in a 2m tent with 2 x 400w viparspectra full cycle lights. still unsure if I want to go hydro in netted pots or good quality soil.

Well hydro if done perfect will yield more...but I stress perfect. One mistake during flower with the ph level or nutrient levels or bugs in your containers etc etc and stick a fork in it. Not only do you get the best flavor and terpenes from natural soil or soil less pots (soil less meaning coco or peast moss amended with all natural ingredients or coco with hydroton balls or perlite to aid in getting more oxygen to your roots and using chemical nutes) It is also forgiving when u make little mistakes, unlike bare roots constantly being saturated by a pain in the ass mixture of stuff in a bucket that has to be constantly ph,d and ppm,d and aerated. If mother nature grows the dankest nugs in soil why try to reinvent the wheel...id start with a medium of some sort then if u really want a challenge try Hydro. Those are my 2 cents. Also I think one 400watt and then hang a 400-600watt bare hps vertically during flower to get bulk and more trichrome. I do the bare bulb hang and if I was flowering In a tent that size I definitely would...u should google vertical tent grow and click images and see how much weight u get by putting more plants in there along THE walls of the tent and build something that you.can tie the limbs back to like tall chicken wire or criss cross wood fencing and slowly lower that hps down in the center and you'll have cylinder shaped walls full of buds by the middle of flower and just keep tieing the branches back if they grow to close. Ive seen friends yield 2lbs with one 600hps that way and maybe 16 3gallon pots all along the walls next to each other. Keep me posted.
