Hey there all, im currently looking into becoming a designated grower. From the intel i have gathered so far its pretty much fill out form d2-8, no record, no schools/playground or near anywhere frequented by persons under 18, and be able to secure all product from germ-harvest. It is possible to have 2 patients per grower and 2 growers per residence. And the cops will drop by to check up on licence and plants/set up. it also must be up to code on electrical.

am i missing anything? i want to do this quickly and efficiently so all knowledge on this is greatly appreciated

Sounds like you have everything covered but are you aware of the new regulations (MMPR) coming into effect?

from what i can gather, all produce must be tested for delta9 and cann, microbes, pesticides. labeled accordingly and specificly to the individual with all warnings at a max ship of 15g a bag with tamper evident sealing. security is still about the same. something about specific people in charge spic and rpic and all production must be done indoors.

your really over doing it if you just want to meet the requirements for the mmar.all that testing is not needed, max ship is not a rule, schools and playground dont matter if its indoors, police check is needed before hand, and there is no testing to see if you met any electrical requirement. But you can be shut down for it being really out of code. there is a small chance of an inspection but they need to make an appointment.

mmpr is a different story.

What I was getting at is once the new regulations come into effect, you will no longer be allowed to grow for yourself or have someone grow for you. So unless you have plans to apply for a Commercial Producers license, you may not want to invest alot of money into your grow room.

Is there anyway i can grow commercially at a place of residence or is it offsite only? (ex. pizza place on bottom/apartment on top)

Also is there a minimum amount of employees that must be working there? spic/rpic?

I read that pharmacies will be able to dispense it and nurse practitioners will be allowed to prescribe it. is this true? and will there be a maximum plant limit?

And all in all, why are we listening to droids that want to commercialize everything? i understand the standards and safety factors that prompt this change but, why am i not allowed to grow my own plants in the first place?

You must have the property owner consent - so if you own the commercial space no problem.

If not, you will have to approach the property owner and have them sign a consent form - it must be sent in with your application to HC

There is nothing confirmed about Nurse P's being able to perscribe - so far only doc's can prescribe.

The plant limit is set by the prescription - set by the doc.

Under the mmar

You must have property owners permission on form F unless the rented property is also your primary residence.
