DHN - GG#4

Like you got say 2 dud gg#4 moms. Scrap them. Get gg#4 cuts from someone else. How do you know that grower isnt circulating the same dud cuts?
They would have to do what we all do, and that's flowering them out, and seeing what they've got. GG#4 isn't a hard cut to find but finding a good cutting of it is hard.

she has fat leaves but I think they were on her at the time they cloned her I only run 2 lights 2 plants on the led & a single under the hps soon to be replaced with with a 315 I know you're pretty knowledgeable about sherbet & sunset would they suit my style ? I'm wanting to try it I quit growing pink panties because of low yield & not potent but sherbet sure looks good & your pic that Dhn uses is smokin
Go for the sunset sherbet ! I picked up a nice cut from local dispensary here in portland or. She has been so healthy her whole life. A total of maybe 5 leaves ive ever had to pull off from being discolored. Here's a pic of her when I first got her on June 21st. Vegged it indoors for a couple weeks then stick it outside giving it only shade for few first days to prevent sun shock. And here's a pic of her currently! She just started flowering this week!20170617_010746.jpg received_1642600162417976.jpeg received_1642600175751308.jpeg

I cut my losses & moved on for me it seems if you get something clone it , run it & if it proves to be good keep running it cause if you let it get away there is a good chance you won't get that same cut again it seems this whole thing has gone so commercial you really gotta work for that keeper I have one keeper in the last year & that's purple city doubledream I have other hopefuls but that's my "bird in the hand"

They could address it by replacing their dud GG#4 mothers with the true cutting. It's not like they'd need to make an announcement about it on social media, just a quick swap out, and everyone's happy.
I took a chance on a new Dhn strain (sour'diesel x lemon kush) with the exception of gg4 everything has grown good it's the finished product that hasn't been all that

rubbing elbows with others that grow is gonna be your best chance it seems the more interested the government gets in the money the more downhill the quality of available cuts suffer

This^^^. And its what I do. I get a cut. I run it in my test room. If its all that (ususally run it at least twice) then I will throw her in rotation to see how well she plays with the gang. Prospect status. In saying that...the vast majority do not get past the test room. Its gotta have it all for what iam trying to accomplish. Smell...taste...high...yield...structure...ease of growing...no wierd quirks...pest and disease resistance...no stamens in flower...etc. Ive let cuts go just because they were finicky floppy gals that needed alot more canopy management in flower and had wierd nute requirements compared to the rest. Ive let some go that were fire but were ridiculously long to finish compared to the rest. But the 3 most important reasons by far i let shit go after a test room run or two is because of powdery mildew...bugs...or hermaphroditism (at any stage except very very late - and its got to really get my interest to overlook even that). I dont care how hot the cut is. If its got pm..bugs..or throws nanners - them cuts get tossed. And usually not even a complete run. No time for that bullshit in my life anymore. Been through all of that crap SO MANY TIMES. I can get picky...but with all the cultivars out there..all the damn growers...it just makes no sense to waste time and money with stuff that dont jive. That being said..these non keepers for me ive seen THRIVE and kick mucho asso in my buddys gardens across town. All relative i suppose.

Yeah. I always stand by this...If a hot cut hits the scene..your best chances are trying to score it RIGHT AWAY. As quickly as possible. Because in short time...a plethora of fakes and knockoffs will throw the name game all outta whack. Then your just chasing the tail. They say gg#4 is easy to tell the real from that twisty leaf hump. (I say hump because its more that than a curl). Also the wide sweeping wishbone like side branches. Lanky like a satty but real Afghan indica stubby wide leaves. But ive seen knockoffs and fakes do this same thing. Its not exclusive to Glue.

Is there a difference between Gelato and Sunshine Sherbert? And is there a Sunshine and a whole another one called Sherbert? And finally is it..Sherbert or Sherbet??? I got grower friends in Lake County CA that can get me whats called Gelato. Iam interested. Seems to be the hot one on the block as of late. Anyone know the pedigree? Cookies in there???
