Did my auto turn male?

Here's a pic of one of my candy cane autos from crop king seeds. To me, this plant looks like a male, but I don't see any threads of ppl talking about having to weed out the males when growing autos. Thanks. Here's the pic and hopefully you can see the little banana looking nub that worries me.

Don't see any pic.... however they are autos that are either male or female. If I'm reading it correctly what you described sounds like a hermie. Do you see things that look like little yellow bannanas sticking out of the buds? Or do you see things that resemble balls?

They are still to early for buds, but one is showing passive preflowering female signs (the large one right next to it). Here's a better pic. To early to be asking this question I'm assuming ha.
Yeah, still to early to tell. However if you are seeing white pistols, more then likely you have a female. Just keep in mind if you do happen to see those yellow bannana looking things, that's a hemoradite. If what you thought was a she ends up having balls, it's a male. (:

Thanks, that pretty much answeredthe root of my question,...can feminized autos turn male,...and the answer is yes, correct? Thank you for the quick replies and I shall just keep an eye out as it preflowers

That's kind of wild though, after paying extra for auto fem seeds, that some could turn male or hermaphrodite. Normally I grow photo strains, but took a break between grows and decided to dabble in some autos. Hopefully they will stay female. Thanks again

How old is an auto before it starts telling what sex it is?
That's what I would like to know. With regular photo strains, I easily pick out the males by week 4 or 5 of veg. Being that some autos are done within 6 weeks completely, I'm making sure I keep a close watch on them. I thought autos and fem seeds had come so far that it would be hard to produce a male even if tried, but I was wrong ha....duped by marketing again. I'll keep you updated if it does turn into a male, but I agree with those above, it's to early. Some people think you have to flip the plants into flower to find out the sex....that's a myth. You can do it during the veg stage, it's just harder to look for

no, female plants cannot turn male, feminized or naturally seeded females, makes no difference.
a female can show both sexes though, its natural especially when she's stressed into rushing -for seed production
and in late flower. late flower girls showing boy traits is where we get our pollen to make feminized seeds.
your plant is now showing sex right now.

auto's have nothing to do with sexing. autos come in male and female varieties just like photo plants do. you cannot produce a male from a female plant, you can make a female express some male parts though.

These candy cane autos are freaking tolerant though. It's almost frustrating having to just let them do their thing lol, but at the same time, it's nice being able to focus more on other things in life. Autos definitely have their place in the growing world for newbies and "pros"

Thank you for the information. I think either I misunderstood you or you misunderstood me lol...either way no worries. I'm not trying to alter the sex of the plants. I do realize how regular seeds work, but this is my first auto grow and being that I bought feminized autoflower seeds, they should all be female. I feel like I'm not explaining myself well. I normally never buy "feminized seeds or auto seeds." I always started from clone or regular seeds. Now I'm rambling lol. I just got off work, I think I'll figure this out, appreciate it man!

I've never had a feminized seed come out to be male, or turn male during growth. if yours are boys you got sent the wrong seeds.
auto or photo makes no difference in feminizing/sexing

Muchhhhh appreciated. It's nice to get a confident black and white answer. I have heard that stress can induce fem seeds into male, but I've been growing long enough to know what to watch out for, so hopefully they will all be ladies, if not, o well, life goes on, right ha. Thanks again man for looking out

However they can go herm. Had a few autos 5 or 6 yrs ago do this on me..
yes sir, both auto's and photo's are able to herm. I saw this twice since 2008. DJ Short Blueberry and Cali Connection Tahoe OG Kush.
I killed the blueberry but the tahoe I treated with Reverse one time.Balls fell off didnt reappear. I still clone from a clone from a clone to this day, no issues since.
