Did you use marihuana recreationally before using it medically?

I did, however, I will qualify that with every time I was given new medications to deal with my situation, I stopped using marijuana. And I tried a list of medications as long as my arm...I just always seemed to end up back at the herb for some reason. I would literally go months without and then one night I would be so sick of feeling like shit, I would call up my friend and say buddy, ya gotta help me out! Finally the nurse said I should..and once I had a med pro telling me it to use it was full steam ahead.
