Dilbert endorses Romney

"[Obama] is putting an American citizen in jail for 10 years to life for operating medical marijuana dispensaries in California where it is legal under state law. And I assume the President - who has a well-documented history of extensive marijuana use in his youth - is clamping down on California dispensaries for political reasons, i.e. to get reelected. What other reason could there be?"

"So while I don't agree with Romney's positions on most topics, I'm endorsing him for president starting today. I think we need to set a minimum standard for presidential behavior, and jailing American citizens for political gain simply has to be a firing offense no matter how awesome you might be in other ways."

At least endorse Gary Johnson if you're going to be supporting medical marijuana...you know someone that isn't actually opposed to it.

Good point, and I agree with it.

<edit>The only caveat I offer is this: if you think Obama is hypocrite for his crackdown on MMJ, and if you think he has crossed the line by destroying people's lives with his hypocrisy, and finally, if you recognize that the only way to fire Obama in a two-party system is to elect the other guy, then Dilbert's endorsement makes sense.

Someone who has actually used it themselves after an accident and said it was great? He's also said he doesn't do it anymore by choice cos it's not "his thing" recreationally speaking.

GJ is an all round fucking cool guy.

Yes, he is! America would be a much better country if GJ were elected, that is why he has my vote.

A protest vote for a guy that doesn't believe in medical marijuana even for sick people? Obama hasn't been a friend to large dispensaries but he still believes sick people should be able to grow and use medical marijuana, Romney doesn't. A protest vote should be for something not against something, especially when the against looks to be farrrrr worse.

So vote GJ, Obama only pretends to like MMJ to get gullible arseholes to vote for him.

His actions speak FAR louder than his empty words.

I mean if he really believed in MMJ he'd try get the Govt to give it away for free.
